You know what? The Wii was an awesome console

I'm a fairly hardcore PC gamer, but I still bought a Wii and play it, because for me the Wii is the only console that offers an experience I can't really get on the PC. It's probably the only console I will ever buy to actually play it rather than just for the exclusives.

So yeah, the Wii was, and still is, a great console.

Liked the wii but honestly disappointed in developers. The same reason why I'm also disappointed in developers for the Wii U. Developers for the Wii and wii U kept trying to make use of motion control and the wiimote+nunchuck combo instead of actually realizing that the wii did support the same controller scheme as the 360 and PS3: the classic controller.

Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn was one of the few games that actually made me notice this (motion controls were conspicuous by their absence). The Wiimote + Nunchuck had a D-Pad but a lot of companies went in on the motion gimmick when they didn't need to also.
