No, I didn't do anything stupid, but really... it can't be that hard to jump to the next building, go over the rooftop and slide down the side to make a roll-landing on the next roof.

Friend of mine turned me on to the Touhou games over Christmas. I started seeing bullet patterns as i was falling asleep, and here's the part where I KNOW I'd had enough: I was was watching the technicolored bullet-hell unfold before me in that half-awake state right before you fall asleep, and I figured out a pattern to this one level. I got up right then and tried it and it worked. Decided right then it was time to give Touhou a rest.

I was taking the bus down town, after session of playing Motorstorm Aplocalypse, and I was getting frustrated because nobody was using their boost.

BOOST DAMN IT!

That has happened to me many times after playing GT4 suddenly 60 is too slow and I contantly think I should be in a car going 100+

By the way I can't drive so I haven't really been speeding due to GT4 I just keep telling people who are driving to go faster!

Move to Canada. Seeing 100kmph signs makes you think you're going fast...and usually the traffic speed is 115-120kmph. It's much more satisfying than seeing 60mph...it feels like...60% speed or something.

So my mother-in-law has a scooter that's in kilometers instead of MPH.

I was riding alongside my father-in-law who was on a motor cycle and I >thought< we were speeding. My speedometer was reading nearly double the speed limit signs in the area and we passed a cop. I'm literally panicking.

We get to a red and I said "I'm surprised we didn't get pulled over."

He was confused, I explained my speedometer, and he said "That's in metric."

Yeah...so the illusion works. Then again going fast on a scooter or ATV feels a lot more insane than in a car.

40MPH in a car "Meh."

40MPH on a cycle/scooter/ATV "AMIGAWD I'M GOING TO DIE!"

If I hit 500 played hours on a character in world of warcraft I re-evaluate my life.

If I hit 500 played hours on the most recent copy of Pokemon I celebrate and tell myself "Halfway there. This is worth every second."

Such an odd disconnect that I'm fully aware of :/.

I once realized I had played too much minecraft when I got up from playing a full 2 and a half days after I sat down. This was during a college term and I missed my classes for those two days. This was also my first experience with 72 hours without sleep. After that fanatic burst of playing I have been WAY more relaxed with my minecraft playing.

When I can beat Green Hill Zone of Sonic the Hedgehog 1 without looking at the screen in under 30 seconds. It's a shame I don't have it recorded. Only proof I have is some guy who apparently saw me playing and when I was done he said "I have nothing but respect for you." So, I guess that's cool.

when i start having dreams in with the game as my viewpoint. Like having the hud of cod or having normal dreams but with sims..... from the top-down viewpoint of the sims. That was one scary dream.......
