Dragon Quest and Okami?

OT:When I play other shooting games and I press in the right stick to go into dead eye (too much RDR).

Okami's right, Dragon Quest isn't what I was thinking of ^^
Crap...what do I get for being half right?
Hmm, you win half an internet?

It's probably been done, but...

You know you've played too much Black Ops when your K/D is higher than your GPA.

Not so much video games, but when I was on my TV Tropes binge, I kept categorizing the the sentences I would hear throughout the day, and even make references to tropes out loud (though, they were always on topic, so I don't think anyone noticed).

for the past 6 years i when i walk around i have my hand partially behind my back reaching to pull out a Keyblade and i can never silence the videogame music in my head unless i'm with my woman. My woman makes me feel sane.

When Halo: Reach came out, I played it whenever I had free time. Whenever I was taking a break, or even when waking up, I would see someones back and debate about whether I should assassinate the person or go for a headshot.

When you notice that the play time counter in Pokemon Heart Gold says 135 hours x.x
512 hours and 34 minutes =D
What I....I don't....my god...I bow to you good sir, you have me soundly beaten...
Trust me, it wasn't easy, I can't even look at a pokemon game anymore. I just kept leveling and Leveling random pokemon to their top levels until I couldn't handle it.

for me I know i've played too much of a game when...

...Often daydreaming while walking across town that I'm being assaulted by random people and how I take them out, be it magic or swords.

... I start to think travel would be so much easier if i could just 'fly' over the houses and fences.

...I wish i could stop or rewind time just for the sake of doing so.

I remember after playing a LOT of WoW I laid down to sleep but couldn't find my remotes and was too lazy to get up, i fell asleep watching Passion of the Christ or w/e it's called...

Most MESSED UP DREAM EVER.... I cant remember it clearly anymore but I do remember it was a warped mixture of WoW and PotC.... Still gives me shivers...

So simply tell me when you have realised you have played too much of one game.

For me it is when I was walking to work yesterday and I was constantly checking windows to see if there were snipers around. Proof I have played too much of Black Ops.
I start to dream about the game. Seriously, I know I've played something too much when it creeps into my dreams. This has happened with a couple MMOs - Everquest and DDO specifically as they are the only ones I have ever played to the point of dreaming about them; and some Bioware games which I find difficult to put down. Yes, as uncool as it is to say now, I actually like Bioware games and find them engaging. ;)

Once, I got out of our bowling alley and looked towards the cinema. There was a crowd of people and I wondered what was going on. Naturally I tried to use Mind Vision on one of them.

Took me a few seconds to realize I couldnt Mind Vision in real life. This was when I played a lot of WoW... :\

I've seen some "When you have a dream about it" comments. I disagree, I had a dream about Other M. A horrifying, disturbing dream that makes me question my own sanity. And that was after I played the game once. Over the course of about 4-5 days too.

OT: When you read up on really specific details on a game, for example, how many shots it takes to kill someone with an M4A1 in MW2. That's just kind of creepy to me.

I was playing Halo: CE ages ago, finished it in one sitting several days in a row (Loved me some Halo: CE back then...) and then, at 4 in the morning, I hear it... An elite in the next room doing its "Wrot wrot wrot!" thing. Scared me half to death, only later found out that my mom had forgotten to put on her anti-snore bands across her nose...

I was taking the bus down town, after a session of playing Motorstorm Aplocalypse, and I was getting frustrated because nobody was using their boost.

BOOST DAMN IT!
lol I get a similar feeling when I drive my diesel car after playing a few games of SARPBC

For those of you don't know.

OT: When I walk home from the train station at dusk or night and I keep checking for skeletons and creepers. Goddamnit Minecraft!

Well I'm a bit of a achievement hoarder on the Xbox 360 so every once in a while I'll hear the ding noise of an earned achievement from out of nowhere.

Too much of a dose of video games and 24 has made me paranoid. I don't stay by windows or in open areas for too long, and tend to find myself watching my back quite often.

When I forget that cops don't tend to forget you exist when your car going 100 mph breaks their line of sight.

When I'm too scared to go into the woods at night because of people made of shadows will try to kill me and I of course don't have my flashlight and surplus of batteries.

I will cancel a whole day on the release of a new game just to play it until I realize people require food to live or I go into a sleep deprived coma. I'll nearly break my phone because I forgot that it has a off button since people won't stop bothering me with calls and texts saying, where are you, why weren't you at school, why'd you cancel our date, and other garbage. Why are friends so selfish?

After playing Postal 2 whenever I went into a crowded room I wondered how many people in the room I can make vomit by peeing on them and then how fast I could disperse of them with my shotgun with a cat silencer...
