When you don't want to play it anymore. Not a funny one, but true, I completely burned through Fallout, I can't even bother firing it up anymore (failing with modding doesn't help either, but I just wanted some nice new textures anyway).

When I notice that I have two characters with more than a hundred hours of playtime on both of them accrued in less than a month and that I've only been playing it due to momentum and am in fact quite sick of it.
