That's what she said.

Don't know if mine would survive the stretch to 115 x 115.

Edit: Turns out it did :D

Cheers, TopazFusion.

Did it really only keep the top spot for one month after? I wouldn't be surprised if it stayed up there a bit longer.
I can't remember how long it was number one for, I just remember it was my most visited page for a very long time after I left. It was definitely in my top 10 pages for multiple months.
I'm beginning to see why you retired. o_O

Somebody should probably get to making a thread in Off-Topic to spread the word about that, heh.

EDIT: Did that. Right here [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.382640-New-default-Escapist-avatar-sizes#15104360].

ENTITLEMENT, ARTISTIC INTEGRITY, RAPE, FEMINISM, FEMINISM, GENDER POLITICS.

Yeah, I haven't had the account for long, but I've been following the Escapist through videos and articles for a while.

When you think "This would make a great thread topic!"

When you try to convince others that your opinion matters more because you have a bigger post count

When you see a news article and the first thought that comes to mind is "that would make a pretty popular thread on the Escapist".

Also, obligatory Daystar Clarion reference and such

When you see Team Rocket, you're reminded of Redlin.
When you listen to the Gorillaz, you remember xmbts.
When you're reading Black Butler, you're reminded of Best of the 3.
When you stumble upon cat people pictures and you're instantly reminded of Just Plain Lazy and Martian War Machine.

What else.... eeerrrr... no that's about it. Pretty much me thinks.

It happens all the time.

I'm like the Skittles guy.

Everything I touch turns into derail.
How does that work?

I mean, you must touch yourself at some point [small]Yes, ha ha ha very funny[/small].
How does one derail oneself?

I mean... that's... what?
This one time, I went into the kitchen for a sandwich.

While I was there, I scratched my head, and the next thing I know, I was on the moon.

True story.
Wasn't there one thread that you started yourself and ended up derailing within the first ten posts? I seem to remember something like that happening at least once.

I know I've spent too much time here, because it's quarter to 3 in the morning and I'm still awake.

When the only mail you get excited for is for being quoted.

It feels good man. Real good.

I know that feel, bro. Being quoted is absolutely awesome.

One day when I got on in the morning I found I had been quoted by three different people. That was a good day.

It means others care what I say!

My typing was not all for naught! :D

So I cared about what you said and in turn you cared about what I said and I then cared about what you said again! It's so uplifting!

On topic, I tend to think of Escapist users when I see whatever they use as an avatar. When I first saw a commercial for Archer, for example, the first thing I thought was "oh, so that's where Irridium got his avatar from".

You know you've spent too much time on the Escapist when you fear your real life conversations will be derailed by a random popular guy.

I didn't actually mind him at first, but that was because when I first saw him he was in his phase of derailing every thread in existence ever (kind of like what Daystar does now, actually). It was clear he was going to eventually be shown the door.
Except Max was, y'know, pretty vile and vicious. Still, good times were had. Seems freakishly long ago too but it's really been like two years or something. But you can't blame Daystar for this derail. Poor sod is a victim of his own popularity. It's a sad, sad state of affairs.
