You Know You've Spent Too Much Time On the Escapist When...

I swear I have seen this thread somewhere before (a long time ago) and one of my opposition schools is Necromancy so I am unable to locate and necro such a thread... So here it goes!

Describe something you do, think, feel or something that has happened to you that is a direct result from your time lurking and arguing with people on the Escapist.

Here's something that happened to me recently:

I was helping a friend move last night. When we were getting stuff out of the U-Haul I attempted to grab one of those crate picks (those roll-y things used to move furnature and stuff) and realized that it was zip-tied to the side of the truck. As it turns out, when you rent a U-Haul it comes with some things inside of it to help the moving process BUT MAKE YOU PAY EXTRA to use them. The idea is that if the zip-tie is cut you have "rented" what was already in the truck you are renting.

After having this explained to me I pointed at it and said, "Holy shit! That's on-disk DLC right there!"
