Borderlands was the most disappointing game ever (For my anyways). I was looking forward to it for a long time expecting an awesome epic game and got... a vault filled with disappointment...Swarley said:BORDERLANDS

Amen! That was horrid. Pick your poison, no going back in a free-roam-centric game? Not to mention the bushes and night time didn't help conceal your for crud!GrizzlerBorno said:Far Cry 2. Terrible game, Terrible Ending.
rage-inducing ending, but, thinking about it, reading "heart of darkness", I have to say its THE best example of a game being 'art' I've played. But the ending is BS, should have had some sort of 'evil' option, to allow the player to chose to redeem themselves of all the destruction they caused during the game.GrizzlerBorno said:Far Cry 2. I think the point(or at least, one of the many points) In Dragon Age was to make it feel like life. As in, A complete win isn't always possible.Soushi said:Dragon Age... there are no endings that don't suck at least a little. But there you go, such is life sometimes.
I cangratulate you on even getting to the end of that game. I couldn't do it.GrizzlerBorno said:Far Cry 2. Terrible game, Terrible Ending.
It's probably because they couldn't get away with bumping off a real Pope in a video game, even if they chose the most decadent one:Palademon said:Maybe the end of Assassin's Creed 2 where you don't kill the pope, which after a long fight seems like a loosy excuse to get a sequel in the same time period.
I'm sorry but, WHAT! Heart of Darkness was a great book and has NOTHING to do with the game...at all! and Far Cry 2 WASN'T art....it HAD art, because it was a very, very pretty game. but the story made no sense, characters made no sense and when the Jackal said "So, Do you actually want to help the people?" i screamed "WHAT PEOPLE! I haven't seen a single civilian in this Entire country! who are you saving and where is the nuclear bunker in which they were all hiding?"MR T3D said:rage-inducing ending, but, thinking about it, reading "heart of darkness", I have to say its THE best example of a game being 'art' I've played. I wouldn't have gone back to free roam if they had allowed me.....not even if they PAID me, in fact.brandon237 said:Amen! That was horrid. Pick your poison, no going back in a free-roam-centric game? Not to mention the bushes and night time didn't help conceal your for crud!
To the point: Bioshock and SW TFU 1, you die or you become the emperor's little slave. How fantastic. Great ending that.
Bioshock because the boss, and the game, were a tad too easy for my liking.
