The first guy I knew on here turned out to be a guy who went to my school and lived across the town I used to live in. So, yeah, I've met an Escapist IRL. Well, two in fact, seeing as there was another guy who went to my Sixth Form who was an Escapist. Both long gone now though, having deserted these forums in search of pastures new.

I do plan to hit up an Escapism UK event thought and meet some more of you guys.

As for this thread's main question, I don't know. Everyone seems to be going on about some guy called Daystar Clarion but I'm pretty sure I've never seen him around these parts, so I couldn't possibly comment...

I met [user]Souplex[/user] in February/March of last year and started dating him in April of the same year (still with him). And a bit over a week ago I met [user]MiracleOfSound[/user] and his girlfriend (not sure if she's an Escapist member, so I can't count her). A super pair that was hella fun to watch since they were so easily amazed by everything in NYC, and also super nice (hell, they tolerated me for a few hours or so, not to mention they answered a bunch of my stupid questions, so that should tell you something).

And while I haven't met her face-to-face, I have chatted to [user]DivineMissBee[/user] over Skype and the Facebooks. (I know I did the Skype with another, but since it was so long ago and since it was the one time, I can't remember who it was. Sorry. -_-')

I would particularly recommend Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter if you get the chance to see it. I can't find any european copies of it and I'm certain the only way it could be as bad as it is is that they planned it to be that bad.

The Atheist society at my Uni showed it and one of my friends who knew I liked bad films invited me along. It is far better than any trailers hint at. There is even a song and dance routine in it for no reason other than 'because we can have one'.
