Hello. I've been reading tons of magazines and shows in gaming and recently the specific wants for lego games are really getting me ****** off. I'm seein this junk like dawn of the dead, Alien, Terminator, Jaws, and while all that is great, we need to know what this company is making the Lego games for. KIDS. can you imagine your child or anyones child runnin up to thier parents and saying "Mom will you buy me lego Jaws?" "Will you buy me lego rambo?" "Will you buy me lego Dawn of the Dead?" I mean, look at the past movies that were turned into lego games . Sure they were based off of some PG-13 movies, but it was intended for CHILDREN. And on second thought why do we even want these games on lego? If you disagree tell me your side, Thanks.

I can imagine Lego Dawn of the Dead being rather fun... What with the whole construction element to barricading.

There is no franchise that would suffer from the addition of a LEGO game. Except maybe Sonic. But his franchise is done, anyway.

I think it's pretty obvious Lego-anything isn't going to be incredibly difficult. I bought and loved the Star Wars ones, but wouldn't buy the Indiana Jones one - although I prefer Indiana Jones, the games are just too similar. I think that's probably more of an important point than the fact they're 'intended for CHILDREN.' People like lighthearted entertainment sometimes, it doesn't always have to be terribly macho or difficult...

Lego Sonic might just be crazy enough to work - he wouldn't roll very well though. And Lego Dawn Of The Dead would be ace but they'd just make the barricade bits a tetris clone. Hmm. Tetris with zombies!

Lego SAW for the win. (Just ignore that brilliant flash of light from the direction of Billund, Denmark [http://www.lego.com/eng/info/default.asp?page=visit].)

If the Lego Indiana Jones can't have Nazis in it, then I can't see how any of the other games can work. Would the Lego Jaws have a big goldfish instead of a shark, or the Lego Dawn of the Dead have clowns custard pie-ing people instead of zombies eating their flesh?

The Lego people need to stop trying to make adult themed games for kids.

WTF is the deal with removing the Nazis from Indiana Jones anyway? Are the Lego people denying they existed or did anything wrong?
A quick wikipedia search reveals that Lego was invented in Denmark in the mid 1930's, around the same time as the Danish National Socialist Movement. Seems fishy to me...

....if they took the Nazi out of LEGO Indiana Jones, what is there for you to fight?

Besides, Nazis are one of the staple targets for any videogame killing spree and are socially accepted as "The Bad Guys".

Well, you've still got the mass murdering, child enslaving, human sacrificing, Kali worshipping Thugees.
Apparently they're acceptable for children, but the Nazis aren't, even though most children get taught about the Nazis in history at school.

not nice. Family Guy.

those games apeal the the inner children in all of us. They aren't necesarily for childrean, most of those movies came out long before these young kids were born, and legos were around long before them too. Who DIDN'T have legos as a child? Who DIDN'T watch Star Wars as a child? And since when is indiana jones a childrens movie? He pulls out his beating heart, he gets chopped up by an airplane prop, alot of people get shot. Not a kids movie, not necesarily a kids game.

I'd love to see a LEGO version of the FF series (partially because I've been looking for an excuse to build some of the FF architecture with LEGO for a while). But yeah, LEGO Manhunt all the way...
