I can't say I've ever been into a pub based solely on its name, yknow...
Favourites of the past & present: Skerries, Yn Hen Glan, Ffridd Bar, Union Main Bar, Bishop ***** (I have to keep some secrets), Halfway House (sounds like a hostel for recovering addicts, eh), Old Railway, The Station (guess where THEY were located), Greek Bar, Paddys, O'Sheas, Belle Vue, Wellington. Not the most inspiring list of names is it, all largely traditional or plainly descriptive. They got the punters in by having a certain charm or other feature to keep you from walking back out after wandering in... other than, like, a big dog or a man standing by the exit demanding you buy at least three drinks before he'll let you go.
But.. eh... maybe Ye Olde Chip & Blip or something stupid like that. It'd be distinctive to be sure.
