Well, the movie didn't do well and Fox still has the rights.

The way I read it, you were mad at him for not making another movie, not that he killed characters. BTW - I think it was a good move, who has the balls to kill a main character these days? Sure made the movie more thrilling to know that they all could have died (almost all DID) at any moment after Wash bit the dust.
