I find it odd that so many people assume that this fight is taking place at Thermopylae. you do know there were 7,000 or so Greek solders there right?
Leonidas remained to guard the rear with 300 Spartans, 700 Thespians, 400 Thebans and perhaps a few hundred others, the vast majority of whom were killed when the Persians over ran them. At no point did the Spartans fight by themselves, that would have been retarded.

It was also a publicity shot for our old (unsigned) band.

even more odd considering you are 1 guys fighting 300, not 300 fighting 1000's

..All I would need is my Avatar to be at my side and i'll be more then fine. He's Deva Pein, the Akatsuki Leader in Naruto Shippuden. He destroyed a whole village by himself and has killed a few famous hardcore ninjas. (Sorry, it's Nartuo fanbased stuff). Actually, watch this clip and all those 300 guys are no problem, being wiped out in an instant.

I liked this part in manga but seemed cheaply done in anime (happens alot in the anime of naruto):C but Pain (Pein) is still awesome
