I'd, after some consideration, probably lend some support to what I imagine would be the inevitable movements petitioning the government of my country (Canada) to impose diplomatic sanctions against the U.S. These movements likely being whole political parties. I doubt the Conservatives'd go for it though, they do love their trade.

What I'd consider before doing this would be, given the insane change in U.S., whether that in anyway increased the likelihood of military action against Canada - frankly, in terms of likelihood, I'd count invading Canada at about the same level as disenfranchising women - at which point I'd probably consider migrating elsewhere.

I'm not American either but if David Cameron even tried that one I would be marching down to that Number 10 right away.

Now, if this did happen in America and not England, I would most probably voice my opinion loudly on loud but what could I do? If I was rich and had a lot of time on my hands I might fly out and kick my dearest cousins in the shin but... effort.

You wouldn't need to rebel, if this actually happened a modern government would put things straight as quickly as possible.

I would use the opportunity to troll feminists with the phrase, 'If men and women are equal then they'd vote for exactly the same things. Therefore we only need one gender to be able to vote.'

In all seriousness if I was American and had the means to, I would use the opportunity to try to change laws in divorce courts to not favor women over men, before the nation has the chance to bring back female voters.

If it was just in America, there's nothing much I can do, being in the UK. (Possibly should have worded this women all around the world lose their rights to vote. the ones that can already vote at least.)

If it happened over here, damn right will I protest. I've observed recently if people stamp their feet and throw a tantrum they usually get everything changed and whatever they want so I'll do a bit of that.

[sub]And if we were all on our time of the month at the same time this happened, you'd be fuuuuucked.[/sub]

It's kind of depressing how many people wouldn't give a shit if over half of the population lost the right to vote.

First of all there would be serious questions about why there was an expiry date on female voting rights. Secondly, I'd be marching and protesting pretty much instantly, as would most sane people.

Also, I'd love to see The Escapists reaction if it was the male vote taken away.

"Hey! HEY! Not cool American Government! Cut that shit out, right now." -My reaction.

I'm not even from the US but that would really rustle my jimmies. It's kind of rustling just how many people wouldn't care just because they're not from the US. This would be an issue of human rights, which are pretty global last time I checked.

Well obviously if they don't fix it for the election I'm going to protest. And since Romney would almost certainly get elected if women can't vote I would consider his presidency a fraud. If nothing is ever done I might leave the country.

If it happened in Australia there'd be protests and it'd fixed right away.

If it happened in America then the Republicans would try to keep it that way. If I lived in America and it happened I'd rebel and start killing rich Republicans. Doing that would save me buying Dishonoured...

I don't know... I'm just in that mood today.

Laugh, watch some news about protests then laugh some more.

I'm British, I wouldn't give a toss.

my ancestor would turn in her grave after everything she suffered through going up in smoke like that. Even though I'm not American I'd protest.

I shrug and continue on with my day. I'm Swedish, so this doesn't affect me in any way.

Then the Courts would overturn it due to the flurry of people/groups suing the U.S. Government over the act, and it probably wouldn't even make it to the Supreme Court before the U.S. had to concede to the amendments of the constitution and grant the rights of women back to them. Any sort of thing that would restrict the rights of women would be taken down so quickly, it would have been a waste of time for Congress to even consider putting it into a bill.

Honestly?

I cannot really come up with an answer to your statement as it is utterly insane and an impossible hypothetical. So instead I will propose a slightly more possible hypothetical

A new clause in the Patriot act removing the right to vote from citizens in a time of crisis whilst simultaneously declaring that until the act is revoked America is at a time of crisis.

And if that slightly more probable hypothetical occured?

I would laugh and laugh.

But as for the original question? It makes about as much sense as "What would you do if gravity stopped working one morning" and is far less interesting.

Actually...
