So really, I'd just keep the harem. I'd turn into memoryless supperpowered whore. It would be rather splendid.

well if you didn't know who you are and why you're there you wouldn't know of your powers...so you'd spend some time in a amnesiac daze before discovering your power, IF you do, since mine would be teleportation it would be hard to discover without memory of having it.

EDIT: For the record, my superpower would be Peter Petrelli Pre-Crisis (lol, by that I actually mean when his power didn't suck). That is, absorbing the powers of anyone I touch (and by pre-suck, I mean being able to keep all of them rather than only one at a time). I would be unstoppable!!!!!

Except that apart from you, no one has superpowers. So your power's pretty useless. Not to mention that everyone could have that superpower you describe, but they all absorb just ordinary people's powers. Which are NONE.

I wouldn't do any of that superhero stuff. I'd help people, sure, but I'd also help myself. It would be like I currently exist, I'd just be able to do some things that are out of the ordinary. I probably wouldn't go to work anymore, though. Especially if I could, say, use my powers to find valuable things or crush coal into diamonds. I guess I'd probably use the powers to solve problems that ordinary people can't solve and governments are always screwing up. I wouldn't be the universal overlord, either. I don't want to try to control things, that's too damn much work.
