well... I choose the ability to slow and stop the flow of time (no reverse, what's done is done and space-time paradoxes). Then become the best surgeon existing, if the patient can't bleed out what can go wrong? Also, sleep when I want, since I can just pause time if needed, avoid crashing when driving etc.. pretty much that

well, baring in mind my powers would be above the level of omnipotence, I'd meditate until I found my true identity, I'd solve all the unsolveable questions, fix all the unfixable problems, then rise up to mars like Dr Manhattan, and be earth's protector from the forces of evil (but only apocalyptic shit)

I would use my powers of time travel to control the universe, pause time, research on select objects that would still have time, build giant spaceship, eliminate my aging by remaining in paused time, and colonizing Mars. Just for fun. Oh, maybe also research how to get rid of my memory problem.

As for the thread, I'd do whatever I want, seeing as my power of choice would be the "Superman ability to have any power he bloody well wants" power.
I would do nothing, I would sit there like a lump until my family noticed me missing since I have no drive, passion, needs or wants based on a social structure I'd set up for myself in the years I knew who I was. They'd probably put me in a hospital or something. If my super powers are anything unnoticeable, I'll quietly bring them up with the guy who looks exactly like me, my brother, to see if he has any powers.
Hopefully I'll get my memories back and the government wont have me on an operating table by the time I get out.

Thankfully I'll have been recording down a lot of information about my social life. One of the first things I'll do is look at all this information, such as photos I was sent from friends, my book full of contact information and info about friends, etc. There. My social life is once again mostly intact.
As for my power it would by to see into peoples' dreams and minds, discovering their darkest fears then pulling that fear into the realm of reality. If I could do that I wouldn't care who I was before I lost my memory. Kind of a stupid power, I know but I've always thought psychological warfare was cool. And I would also go and get some ice cream.
My power would be anything ending in kenisis: telekenesis, pyrokenisis etc.
