Have you ever bought something or a bundle/pack of something, and then when you open it, you realize you didn't get something inside of it that you were meant to?

Mines nothing big, but its what made me think of this topic: I bought the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 collectors edition, but i didn't get my Minato DLC card for it. I know its not a big deal and i can get him without it anyway, but i still wanted to play him right at the start.

so what haven't you got that you should have? (doesn't have to be game related)

Actually, now i have a big one to add to this. Just bought AC:Brotherhood. 2 hours later when i'm in the car going home, i pull it out from the pile of crap it was concealed in, only to notice that they had given me the completely wrong game... case, manual.... the only thing they got right was the receipt which clearly read "Assassins Creed: Brotherhood".

so yea, im heading back to trade it in tomorrow.

I bought a DVD box set called Evil Places. It said that it contained the film "Silent Night, Deadly Night" but it actually was "Silent Night, Bloody Night" Huge difference seeing as "Deadly Night" is out of print and I have been looking for it for years.

Just to let you know, before mods get onto you, there is a little button in the bottom right corner of every post you make called "Edit," which allows you to go back and change the content of that post. That way you can add to what you have to say without making a double post, a practice which is frowned upon when done deliberately.

Anyway, on topic, I got a used copy of .Hack//Mutation from GameStop a few years ago and it was supposed to come with a DVD that had a little 40 or so minute anime. The show was supposed to correspond with what was happening in the game at the time (the game was a set of four, and Mutation was the second). Well, I didn't get the DVD. After much searching, I found most of it on YouTube, however it was in Japanese. If I had gotten the DVD with the game like I was supposed to, I would have seen the legitimate dubbed version. Not a world-ending problem, but certainly aggravating.

I bought Clerks: The Animated Series on DVD a couple of years back. I had the two discs, zero scratches, and additional written material so I was content to let it sit on my shelf for a couple of months while I got through a bunch of my other movies. When I finally got around to watching the show, I found out immediately that my disc one was another disc 2 with a disc 1 label.

Needless to say, I raged. To this day I still haven't seen the first three episodes.

I preordered Fable 3 collector's ed but somehow or another my preorder was lost in the system. No big loss really since the collector's ed was nothing special and the game turned out to be lackluster. I'm a regular at my local gamestop so I still got my DLC sword and tattoos.

when i bought bloody roar 2 and beyblade for the psx, right around when the ps3 came out, from game stop i ended up buying some kind of mario candy with it too, but when i got home the disc wasn't in the case, but i didn't bother going back. Bloody roar was like 2 dollars and the mario candy and beyblade were both worth more

Back when I was into Warhammer, I purchased the starting set. Assembling me Empire I realize I am missing a bracket containing the cannon and the heads of the crew.

Though slightly different, I have an Age of Wonders pack with both the discs misprinted as the other game.

Recently actually; I bought a pack of card sleeves for my Magic the Gathering EDH deck. EDH decks are strictly 100 cards, so obviously I needed 100 sleeves, which is what I was supposed to get. I got 99...

I used to work at a record store and we could get into some shows around town for free through the store. I asked to get tickets to take a girl to see the Dead Weather when they came through town and was told it was all set. On the day of the show i drove to the venue, and was told that I didn't have tickets. It turned out the person who had taken the reservation on the venue's end had reserved me for the wrong day, and wrong show. The show, by the way, had been sold out for like 2 months so, no tickets, no show, I was 200 feet from Jack White and got turned away.

One of the very first videogames I purchased as a young man was supposed to come bundled with a copy of the full version of the game it was a sequel to - it did not. It took a conversation with a technical support line to get my mitts on the URL where I could actually acquire those files, but acquire them I did. Huzzah for persistence.
