I dunno, I am always pretty much right about everything. :p

Oh wait, I know! I once made the judgement that I would not like anything Garth Ennis put out after reading The Preacher. Turned out to be (happily) wrong about that one. :p
thats odd to me...since in terms of graphic content and such they dont seem all that different

Twasn't the graphic content that turned me off of The Preacher/Ennis in general. Had to do with the writing, more than anything. :p

We rehearsed this!

I'm wrong about plenty of things, though I can't come up with one right off the top of my head right now because it's been a while since I got into an argument based on set facts.

I used to be way closer to the religious and economic right as far as my beliefs were concerned before coming here. This site didn't have much to do with that change though, that was mostly me and the greatest professor I've had so far being awesome. Now I am much more moderate economically and extremely permissive socially. I was wrong about ME3's ending and the controversy. You guys had every right to be mad. There's other stuff too, but most of it is really small stuff confined to a single thread.

Well okay, this is a deep shame of mine but, there was this time in my life that I...
...you have to understand me, it's all I was ever made privvy to, what with the radio always being on him and nothing else, I had no other exposure...
I used to believe that Rush Limbaugh was a clever and well thought out individual.

I hated hummus when I was a little kid, and for years didn't try it because it looked icky.
Today I had some at my friend's house.
I hereby deputize anyone with access to a time machine to go back and punch me in the stomach, and offer me some hummus.

I used to be the biggest Halo fanboy. I would literally compare everything else to it, and not be willing to try anything new.
That was about 6 years ago. Luckily, around the time I started maturing a little, I broadened my horizons.
I don't nessecarily think that Halo is bad now, but I haven't played it in a long time.

I used to think Halo was just a Space Age COD, I WAS SO WRONG!! When I borrowed the first 3 from a friend, I must've spent a month in my room, beating the campaigns of 1, 2, and 3, and using my first-month free to play hours of Halo 3 online.

I also used to think Anime was stupid, then I watched Dragon Ball Z, it changed me, it really did. I went to thinking Anime-freaks were stupid and wasting their time (I was very ignorant) to having my room cramped with Anime DVD, VHS's, figures, posters galore! I also thought the same thing about Vocaloid (and music from Japan, in general), now, my iPod is 90% Vocaloid and other songs I can't understand, but still love.

I cant think of any actual time I was "wrong". But this comes from what is the measure of wrong, for I have been told Im wrong plenty of times, but because of what Im "wrong" in is usually something thats opinion, I dont really count it[footnote]Like when I say The Expendables was an awesome movie, and someone else says it sucks and im a horrible person for liking it.[/footnote]. These usually devolve into your traditional internet squabbles.

I was largely right-wing in my younger life, but have since changed to a more leftist position... But as Im from Pennsylvania, I still enjoy guns... so that didnt change.

I was wrong about who was making The Elder Scrolls Online.
That is all I can think of right now. But I know I am wrong about a lot of things.

Just had to bring it up.

I don't get why anyone would particularly be for a complete ban on firearms, but I do think it's possible. I just think it's too much work for too little reward, all things considered.

I used to be pro-life. The change wasn't so much because of debate, but it was centered around people on the internet, so I think that counts. There are a lot of very specious arguments that go on that are easy to not see dispelled if you aren't exposed to people who talk openly about their experiences.

I used to think John McCain was a great candidate. Though he changed my mind more than anyone else.

There's probably a lot of things that won't come to mind. This isn't so much that I never admit I'm wrong as it is a combination of confirmation bias (we tend to remember our victories more than our failures) and the fact that I despise arguing in bad faith. If I thought I was wrong, I wouldn't be arguing it. Since a lot of matters are subjective, it's hard to be "proven" wrong.

but I'm ordinarily not afraid to toss out a "my bad" when it's due.

I've misused grammar, especially "whom," when referring to the direct object.

I was also a little kid and thought everyone in the world was nice and happy. And then I got into Middle School...

I totally get that. Man, I look back at how homophobic I used to be and I get kinda freaked out. I remember some of the more out there things I said IRL and I feel a bit ashamed. For example, I once persuaded a friend that evolution was evil. I remain so very, very ashamed of that. Most of that had changed before posting here though, as did almost all my beliefs in biblical literalism (not that I ever really believed that come to think of it, more that I entertained the thought where it suited me).

Never had anything IRL for me, but I almost want to go and erase some past things I've said... Though it'd take hours -__-
I'm safe there. I don't think I still agree with everything I ever posted on this site, but the majority is pretty tame. I knew to avoid sounding like a far right nutjob here even when I was still a far right nutjob.
