My question is, as a computer programmer, how could a game from 2003/2004 run so poorly on a machine that runs most games from 2009 on max smoothly? Seriously. That game pissed me off to no end. The puzzles often make you go through several loading screens just to complete them and the entire game is built on mystery meat navigation. Maybe it's the fact that I was introduced to it without playing any other games in the Myst series, but the clunky UI really made me hate that game.Darius Brogan said:

I imagine that the loading screens are partially due to the length of some of the puzzles. Kadish, for one, was rather long.

After thinking long and hard about this question, I have decided I don't have a least favourite game. Not in terms of the game itself. I hated FF13 when it came out just because I pre ordered it like a year before it came out, £40 down the drain.
In terms of just the game, maybe Trials HD? That game was pretty fucking annoying, but only because I couldn't do it.
