Um... I can't see the trailer. Is there an alternate link?
Looks like those assholes over at Nintendo started copyright claiming all the videos. I know it isn't ideal but this is the best I can do, Can't find literally any other than this copy.
Thanks, I was wondering if I was missing out on something. (Goddamned copyright Nazis...)

...And, frankly, if they made an anime like this, I'd watch it, as long as it wasn't like the boring, stagnant anime we have now...

*Watches Video*

*Spots Loli Character*

*Closes Video in new tab*

I probably won't be watching it anytime soon. I don't like Pokemon and the general plot of running through a checklist of various gyms bores me to no end. I did like the first movie of Pokemon, but then again I stopped caring at about that point for the immortal bastards.

Sixcess uses Google-fu. It's super effective!

(Better quality version for those interested)

did Arcanine kill that snake thing, if so, i fully endorse that Pokemon series. for we all know what Pokemon truly is, animal death matches on steroids.

Yes, yes I would just turn down the music a bit.

I really like the quality in this. The thing that bothers me in the current anime is the look of characters mainly their faces if You know what I'm trying to mean?

If only it were real. Given that Ash hasn't aged at all (in fact, he looks YOUNGER) in the 12+ years since the show began, we need Pokémon redone as a shonen. That way the protagonist will be allowed to age, dammit!

Looks like they actually spent money on animation, so of course its looks better.
^whoever said pokemon special I agree, but wish they stuck even closer to the games.

Really needs more of these guys. Yeah they are my favorite from Black and White.

wow the first, third, fifth and sixth were three of my favourite from this generation with the second being one that was considered for my team, the other two were the jelly fish with the mustach (only the mustach version) and excadrill who is named 'the mole', owned ever gym nearly single handedly when he was a lower level then all the gyms pokemon.

OT: just looks ok nothing impressive really.

Eh, looks pretty standard to me. The animation is pretty, but it always is for movies. It would never be that nice for a show, at least not for Pokemon. I haven't actually watched the anime itself recently, but I have seen some of the more recent movies. And then I just gave up on it all together.

Knowing the franchise, even if it were a real anime that starts out nice and good, it would most likely devolve into the same stuff they've been doing since season 1.

But then, I'm also a bit of a pessimist when it comes to stuff like this.

I would like it if it were a spin off series that mostly followed the story of the games that or just side stories. they had a short lived spin off thing for the pokemon crystal version protagonists.

I... don't think I'll be watching this. I saw something that just put me off all extended pokemon media for a loooong time.

I mean, I don't have a problem with people who are fans of anthropomorphic things in media, but... This [http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Burst] has a garbador man.
Like, half-garbador, half-man.
no. noooooo.

Just knowing that exists has just jarred me into this state of immense cynicism where I can't enjoy all the inherently dumb aspects of pokemon, short of through the lens the original "small kid who is good at pokemon because friendship" perspective.
The nostalgia goggles aren't helping either, dammit.

Urgh. I'm so bad at having fun.

Oh... Oh my. That music needs to die, completely. I almost didn't finish the video, because in spite of how awesome it was, that music made me want to tear my own ears off.

Butyeah, the animation and art quality looks amazing compared to the existing anime, and the battles seem a bit more violent and grittier. I certainly don't expect that Seviper to coil up with crossed out eyes and stars floating above its head like it would in the real anime.
In addition, watching it made me not-quite hate the designs of the new BW2 protagonists as much. Unfortunately this looks like nothing but a big advertisement for the games, and likely won't be translated to English without some serious toning down since Pokemon is intentionally made more childlike in the US because that's its demographic.

So yeps. Music sucked, prolly not gonna be a real anime, but fun to watch no less.

Damn, the Pokemon anime sure has changed since I lat saw it! That was badass!

The only thing that irked me (other than not being able to understand what they were saying) was that Magnimite's magnets were spinning and that professor looking dude's hair.

Anyone here ever read the Pokemon special manga? That shit was badass, I really wish the anime was just an adaption of that :(

Pokemon Special is the greatest of all Pokemon continuities. An adaption of this is the anime I would watch.
God that comic is awesome, now I remember why I wanted a game based off of it. BECAUSE THE POKEMON ARE DEADLY!
