Karl marx, that guy would be PISSED!

also mozart, he would shit bricks when he heard the shitty music of today.
Yup, any of the old composers would.

One of my mates told me psychologists reckoned if Mozart had been born today he would have fallen into the 'Heavy Metal' line of music, and that people who liked classical and people who like heavy metal were the closest together on the musical spectrum. I don't believe it for a second because this mate would lie about something like that just to antagonise me, so I'm a bit suspect of comments like those.
He'd probably have freaked out about Falco though.

R-r-r-r-rock me Amedeus.

Jesus. He would probably kill himself. Which would be quite funny because he would then probably go to hell... or would he be immune to that? Hmmm... he shouldn't be, equality and all that?

I'm listening to Mozart's 'Jupiter' Symphony (symphony no 41) right as we speak and it's very hard to imagine him doing anything other than classical. I wish he'd lived longer though, 36 is way to young to die...

He'd probably have a neck ache from whipping his head around everytime someone goes, "Jesus!"

Eventually, he'd probably break and turn entire water supplies into wine just to make everyone SHUT UP AND STOP UTTERING HIS NAME IN VAIN FOR A COUPLE HOURS!!!

Probably any of the religious savior-type people. If they ever existed, I don't think they'd want to see what the world has become.
The world is exactly the same now as it was then, except things are bigger now.

I would probably go for.. Shiat. I think them being dead is better. If we brought someone back, within a week there would be some scandal and dirty truths and stuff would come spilling out. Then we would have a tainted view of them.

I reckon all the iconic figures would all go and forget about the outside world and start a website together then spend the rest of their days eating ice cream creamily playing Fallout 3.

Haha, please bring him back then. FREE WINE FOR ALL. Even though I've always thought, if he was brought back, he would be shot by some haters pretty fast...

I don't know, I like to think that some of the greatest people in history/myth/etc like Washington, Marx, and Jesus (that'd be a match) probably wouldn't mind being brought back. You've gotta figure that most of them didn't actually think the world would ultimately fit their ideals and mostly (Marx more so than others I'm sure) would feel vindicated in their original views and hardliner stance. Marx would finally get to see the culmination of capitalism, which he wrote about more than he did communism, Washington would see american independence brought to the point of global tyranny, and Jesus, he'd get to see well everything. And all though none of these things are what those legendary figures were shooting for I think they'd find it intriguing none the less. Now that I've thought about it, if I were God, I would make it mandatory that after someone dies they would need to look upon the world and what it has become, because of and despite their efforts. I hope I get to see it after I punch out the eternal time clock.

Hell I like heavy metal and classical. Studies show that people who listen to heavy metal are very creative and laid back. And, besides those really snobby old peeps, that classical music listeners are like this as well.
I never thought I was very creative... laid back definitely. I'm just going to listen to Mozart's 24th Piano Concerto and be happy. (Closes eyes and relaxes.) Ahhh, bliss.

I think many of you guys are underating the world now and overating the world before. There has never been a higher standard of living than now. Poverty is at an all time low thoeghout the world. Music has never been more diverse. Cool technoligies sometimes makes our life super. I am really looking forward to the future.... provideing something really bad happens.
Technology I'll give you but there have never been more deseases or slavery. In the days when slavery was abolished in England there were around 11 million trafficked people (in the whole world as I understand it) today there are an estimated 27 million slaves (100million if you inculde sex trafficking & child trafficking) so no, not all conditions have improved.

I don't think we are better now, I also don't think we are worse, we have just become more efficient at what we have always been.

Thats bad use of statistic. Of course there are more people that are slaves today. The population of the world has grown imensly since slavery was abolished in England. If you instead look at the percentage of the population you will see far less people are slaves compared to how many we are. And no, we are generaly much more healthy now than ever. Ever heard of the black death or smallpox. There has not been a major epidemic in the west for many years. Of course you have aids in africa, but compared to the black death in the dark ages that was nothing. And even though aids might have killed almost as many. There is alot more people to kill today.

While that may be true, historical figures of some popularity may lose it because their part in history always seems to be fairly corrupted by the designs of other people.

Seriously. Someone brought up Karl Marx, for example. He'd probably go nuts from what they did to his political philosophy and ideals. Not because the music and clothing are different.
no argument there ;)
