5. Kingdom Hearts:
Okay, the main story of KH2 might have been unfinished, short and full of holes in my humble opinion, but I have to ask myself "how bad could the game been, overall? You played it through 5 times for god sake". But either way, while KH2 was a step down...
KH and CoM were awesome. It's sad how underrated CoM is and how prejudiced people are towards it, since its story is pure gold, and you get another one equally good after playing it through.
There's something so absurdly-hilariously epic about how they got all the Disney stuff work for the story. But despite all odds, it works.
And there's just something very bittersweet about the story I find appealing.

I dunno, Kingdom Hearts 2 was my favourite of the series, it kept a great story going and i love the hearts theme and the Nobodies, the only thing i don't like is that they took out a lot of the really cool moves from the first one, even without them the combat is ace. Of course Keyblades own whatever game their used in hehe.


I guess i have to put in my opinion on this thread, ok.

1) Mario - Has had many great games. Probably more than anyone else.

2) Metroid - Played them all. Loved them all.

3) Smash Brothers - Only enjoyed the first 2 but still playing them!

4) Zelda - Mainly because of the Master Quest.

5) Command & Conquar - Because I love these RTS games except the latest releases.

good to see so many people putting down ratchet and clank and jak. i second that. ratchet gladiator was a weak link but still a decent game in itself.

KH series as well. both were good games, but the first is truly outstanding.

FF and mario fill up my 5. sunshine wasn't a BAD game, it was again just a bit weak for the series. still immensely enjoyable though.

Edit: I know sequels have been confirmed but they don't exist right now.

Its a sad state of affairs but I can't name a single one.

Mass Effect has no sequel

Planescape: Torment and Septerra Core both had no sequels

Fallout's one and two were both piss poor

If I was pressed? Guitar Hero, System Shock, and Maybe Knights of the Old Republic. But even then Knights of the Old Republic Two was incomplete and buggy. Both of the Vampire the Masquerade games were good I suppose.

It doesn't matter. They might be getting sequels, but no one has played them, so you can't really judge them as series yet.

If you look. I acknowledged that, but people can't say they loved a series of a game that
A: isn't a currently a series (with only 1 game released)
and
B: In the case of Viva Pinata earlier hasn't even got a confirmed sequel (that I've seen)

And I'm not "trying to rip people a new one" It's a thread about favourite game series not favourite games. A series consists of more than one game.

Well if the second game is announced the game automaticly goes as a series, look at taketwo they already saying that mafia is a well known SERIES.
