#1 Metroid - Every game in it is absolutely spectacular from start to finish. It just can't be beat
#2 Ratchet & Clank - The series that taught me to love the gun. Some of the most fun and memorable games I've ever played.
#3 Jak & Daxter, Sly Cooper(Tie) - the amazingness of Jak 1, Jak 3, and Daxter is somewhat ofset by the shittiness of Jak 2, so it comes out as equal to the consistantly great Sly Cooper series.
#4 Halo - First FPS to ever really get me hooked. Other than, Halo 2 being a tad disappointing as far as it's campaign was concerned, I can't really come up with any complaints about it.
#5 Legend of Zelda - Other than the Horrible Majora's Mask, the Mediocre Phantom Hourglass, and the puzzle-centric snorefest that was Oracle of Ages, the series has been a childhood favorite that never lost its luster.
