1. Equestria
2. The Mass Effect universe
Yeah, I got nothing after that.

Also, quick question. What happens when we die in our fictional universes? Do we respawn or do we have to start from scratch?

In no particular order.

Jet Set Radio(or XIII),Mafia 2(50's during day or 40's during the night, both have a great atmosphere.),Max Payne(TV is actually fun to watch),Braid and Ace of Spades

Most of these are due to art design or particular game mechanics(eg. everything destructible and easy to see in Ace of Spades)

Couldn't the universe can be something I created or my "ideal" one?

OT- It would either be Equestria (before any non Brony judge, as far as I seen it's in harmony and without fear of conflict like war or being mugg etc), Marvel comic (only if I get to be a superhero) or One Piece.

POKEMON!!! sounds stupid but imagine finding all the original pokemon going home and not giving a shit about the other 5,000,000,000 stupid things (except the starter pokemon they are generally good so far)

Avatar-verse, provided I get to be a powerful bender of my choice (totes a firebender). And if I could totally hook up with Katara.

Also, I seriously think the only way you die is old age, or the extremely rare death to further someones character background.

Or, if that doesn't work.... Damn, I used to have like five different dream worlds.

I'd say Dresden verse, but that place kinda sucks too.

Maybe Mirror's Edge-iverse? It sure looks pretty enough

Just remember to save often.

Tamriel, no I don't care if someone's already said this...
I'm gonna agree with a guy in this thread, why that place? Seriously, that's a pretty dark universe with some scary ass monsters when you think of it?

And like... barely any bangable chicks.

Edit:

Oh my God, so totally this. I would cream my pants if that happened.

Funny how everyone with a pony avatar picked equestria...
Me, probably the Grim Fandango Land of The Dead on the Number Nine.

That one Terra Map off Civ 4 where I created a model that looked slightly like me, then conquered and colonized the entire world under my glorious fascist rule.

Ehehehe, imagine if the afterlife was the MINECRAFT universe! Complete with Lord Notch supplying it with consistent updates!

Just picture the things you could build with unlimited time on your hands...

Ivalice or Minegarde I suppose. But only if I could get the powers/strengths/other things of people in those worlds.

The universe from Northern Lights (Golden Compass). I always wanted my soul to take the shape of a talking animal and keep me company.
Probably this.
I'd also have to give a lot of consideration to The Discworld, and the Land of the Dead too.

Yeah, but it's cool and it'd be easy to get good stuff because of the broken inventory/law system in Cyrodiil. Open rucksack, hold a handful of cheap scrolls, throw out an expensive scroll, it replicates midair...

I guess not having the death penalty is pretty good.

Murder seems to be pretty cheap.

Mine would probably be The Neo Space (Yu-Gi-Oh), The Pokemon Universe or Minecraft (and just did, dig, dig).

Definitely the Pokemon universe. I'd get to spend my afterlife catching them all.

Most of my favorites are rather dangerous. Star Wars, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones), The Elder Scrolls, etc. So, I'd have to pick Pokemon.

Moving beyond ponies...

I've always been intrigued by Lovecraft's Dreamlands. It's such a varied and unique setting, and isn't a half-bad place to live as long as you stay clear of the mind-crushing horrors.

Also, Beyond Good and Evil's Hillys was freakin' beautiful. I'd be happy for at least a few centuries with a kick-ass lighthouse as a home, an interesting city full of people and talking animals to hang with, and a whole galaxy out there to explore.

You know, after that whole alien invasion thing straightened itself out.
