I'm pretty shy in real life if I don't know you. Someone also pointed this out to me a few days ago when she added me to msn.

Must of been the two years of WoW that made me more comfortable and trusting to people online.

I'm basically the same. Most of my posts online and actions in real life are governed by mood. 80% Interest 15% paranoia and 5% despair. Usually I am polite online - unless I lose my patience.

It has struck me that i make horrible first impressions in real life and online, so i would like to ask my fellow escapists on whether or not you act the same online and if it makes a difference? (i hope people dont always act like they do in the comments of stuff on youtube etc.)

Im way more open and a bit of a cocky bastard online and in virtual worlds such as runescape, in the real world im very shy...guess ive been inside my shell for too long its hard to be that cocky confident bastard i am in the internets...

im pretty much the same online but on the internet i dont really talk to people as much as in real life and in real life i only talk to like 10 people at the most during the day (excluding my family,they dont count)
