I'm less pretentious offline. I also use more slang offline. I think I'm a better person offline, once people get to know me, but I seem to come across as an ass at first.

I'm a bit more silent off-line then online, actually. Being online cracks up my comical wackyness-meter.

I usually act like I do in real life. Really. Saying something off? Or verifying my own non-existence? Yeah, I do that when I'm not online too.

I'm the same online.

Probably even more narcissistic and egotistical though.
Seconded.

Then again, check my name. ;)

I'm the same, funny, spunky and oh so darn lovable.

Indeed... and humble, just like myself.

We're all a little more eloquent online, due to having more time to think and plan what we are trying to articulate.

I act very differently online than I do IRL or on the phone.

Online: I'm silly, crass, outspoken, and love to joke around. I'm respectful most of the time, but more often than not I speak my mind.
IRL: I'm shy, polite to a fault, and very quiet. I'm happy to be the nice, fat, happy guy but since I suck at RL communicating, I hate the meatspace.
Phone: I have a phobia of the phone from when I was a kid so I try to get off as quickly as possible. Thus I'm generally concise but angry.

I like to think I'm the same online and offline. Although I'm probably far more offensive to all 5 senses offline.

In real life i generally make it a point not to talk to people with more than just a pleasant greeting like "hello" or "whats up" until i feel that i can make a connection with a person on a subject matter the we both agree upon.
