Well, i'd at the very least pretend to forgive them, then i'd invite myself over to their fortress of doom for a few beers, then depending on how i felt after that, either be awesome friends with them or steal all the batteries out of everything every time i'm there...or both?

Depends how convincing their apology is. It'd probably need to be a hell of a good one to get me to forgive something like that.

Sure, I'd forgive him, I'd take the guy out for a coffee too so that we can talk about our problems and what's next for us.

stab him 37 times and eat his arms that's karma (cookie for guessing my nemesis)
CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRLLLLLLLLLLL!

OT: Eh, probably punch him in the gut one last time then forgive him. I'm not going to hold a grudge if he's willing to drop it, but I'm not just going to randomly forget everything they've done to me.

My purple boxers are not lame...

Go to a bar with him, drink a couple of beers, retell everything that ever happened, ask him for his memories and how he sees it. Share our honest opinions.

I'm not gonna cry about it, i'm way past that. But I do want to know why everything happened. To talk about it. To see what went wrong. It'll feel good. No hard feelings, really.

Too bad the f*cker probably never realised what he did.

I'd probably make them work for my forgiveness.
"No way you're getting my forgiveness without making up for all that crap before"

Plus it lets me test if they are actually repentant towards their actions. If they aren't willing to subject themselves to all the crap they put me through, then they aren't really sorry about it.

I'd forgive but that doesn't mean we're going to be best buddies. Forgive and cut ties, and hope I never see that person ever again, she was a real *****. As much as I'd like to have this nice little revenge thing all plotted out, to be honest, that would mean I'm no better than her and I would be thinking about her longer then I'd care to.

However, if I'm given the chance to take a swing with permission, you bet your ass I'm taking it. Fucker deserves it.

Yes. I would forgive them. I would never talk to them again, but I would forgive them. Me being me, if I was getting tormented, I torment right back.

Hm, he wouldn't have to go far seeing as how he's sitting in the chair with me typing a message to the Escapist. (Yay internal dichotomies) And I wasn't aware that cords could speak let alone apologize for constantly tangling or assassination attempts. But on the theoretical side, if it was a person not me, I would accept his apology over a couple cans of Mt. Dew and a game of Mario Kart. Then afterwards we'd draw our plans for conquest! Muahahaha!

Hmm. I guess that one bully of an ex-neighbour's kid would suffice as an arch-nemesis.

However, I wouldn't forgive him. I don't bear grudges and I don't hate, but I owe him no forgiveness. I am not obligated to accept an apology and without obligation there's no reason for me to accept one, because an apology from him holds no merit. In my mind, he has reduced himself to a person of no importance or consequence. He destroyed the status quo beyond repair, his words are void.
