I'd alternatively accept his apology and punch him every other sentence, just to confuse him as to whether or not I actually forgive him. Ha! Now he'll never know. [/evil bastard]

If they came up to my door and sincerely apologised for all they had done to wrong me. I suppose it's in my nature to forgive them...

Directly after which I'd tell them that I don't need them and I'd be quite pleased to never see them again. And if I ever saw their name in the obituary I wouldn't dignify their presence with an emotional response. I'd tell them that I "nothing" them.

Then I'd close the door.

I don't think I ha ve a nemesis but if I did, I would probably forgive them and then just cut them out of my life. I want to be the bigger person, hence the apology, but I wouldn't want to be friends with them if they have caused me years of torment. Anyway, if they came to my place out of the blue to apologise, and I can't think of any reason why they should, I would be expecting some kind of ploy that would screw me over.

Well for starters my arch nemesis has way too much ego to ever apologise for what he did to me over the space of one year... I mean he's already attempted to apologise once but;
A) He was forced to do it or face losing his best friend, which he has done now anyway.
B) I could tell he didn't mean a word of it and he didn't even have the guts to do it face to face. To this day he claims that he wasn't at fault to anyone who will listen; making me out to be the one who started it.

But if he suddenly had a true attack of humility I'd probably listen to what he had to say, then tell him to bugger off and slam the door in his face. There's just some things I can't forgive and the trouble he caused for me and his best friend was just too much. We've cut all contact with him now; if he walks into a room, we walk out.

For years, a man/women has been tormenting you in different ways. Kicking you in the shins, making fun of your purple underpants, stealing your girlfriend/boyfriend, ect.

Anyway, one day he/she comes to your home...and you don't need to grab the shotgun.

He/she wants to apologize for all the things he/she has done to you.

would you forgive this person?

EDIT: FUUUUUUUUUUUUU- I didn't add a poll!
It depends why they were apologizing.

Do they only have three days left to live, or something?

If not... then I'd rather cripple them than forgive them.

I would probably forgive them... but depending on what they done it might not be able too... attempted murder would be hard to get over...
