kind of like the medic heal gun from tf2 only it sucks life from enemies, then you can use the leached life to heal your teammates and squad members. if you haven't harmed your enemies you wont be able to heal your friends.

Something that basically shoots the Walking Bomb debuff from Dragon Age: Origins. And the TF2 stickylauncher (or something mechanically similar) should really be in more games.

The tool-buchet:
A small beam weapon in the form of a flint-lock pistol that summons a group of hamsters from a parallel dimension that quickly assemble a trebuchet that is loaded with a huge pile of random household tools.

Honey Badger cannon, because I just don't give a fuck!

For a melee weapon, think like a warpick(small warhammer with a spike) on a staff and the other end of the staff is a spear. Good vs. cavalry and pretty much any level of armor.

This is a really great idea for a TF2-esque class-based shooter. I'm surprised it hasn't been done (to my knowledge.)

Four chain guns tied together. Cause I have a need to shoot more than 20,000 rounds a minute.

the chunderbluss. functions like a blunderbuss, but shoots chunks of chunder that catch fire from the sheer awesomeness of the guns barrel (which is shaped like the troll face. did i mention you squeeze a breast to fire?

- Remotely controlled satellite laser.
Imagine big, f*king, roaring pillar of pure light slicing everything on its road, instantly turning enemies into atomic particles. Roasted atomic particles i mean. :)

- Deevolutionizer.
Gun shooting bullets that rapidly change target into organical Tetsuo-like blob upon impact.

- Particle disruptor.
When hit, target's atomic bonds cease to be. Pufffffff, it disappears, but here's the catch - it works on small area, let's say ball with 20-30 radius. Great for sniper rifle. Headshot = brainwipe. :D
Have you ever considered game development, those are all guns that I would actually want to use. Nice.

Have you ever considered developing guns, those are all guns that I want to use and haven't seen in games (Well I have a feeling i've seen the laser but can't remember). Nice.

That, or a gun that shoots out shuriken like a shotgun. Tons of them. That bounce when they hit a surface. Imagine looking into a room, seeing a bunch of badguys, then just blasting the room full of shots and watch them go to work like a blender.
There was a shuriken machine gun in Painkiller.

Yeah, and it was cool, but its not really what I was thinking about. I was thinking more along the lines of a shotgun+bouncing rounds primarily for the chaos that would ensue when firing it in an enclosed space.
What you're talking about sounds a lot like the Chopper (Ratchet and Clank 2: Going Commando), the Disc Blade Gun (Ratchet & Clank 3: Up your Arsenal) and the Buzz Blades (Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction). All three fire homing sawblades (The Chopper ends up launching Shuriken when upgraded) at enemies that when upgraded would bounce off walls and back into enemies making it easy to clear small rooms (The Disc Blade gun had blades that would break into smaller blades when upgraded meaning you could have around 16 or so blades bouncing around at once).

The main difference I can see between what you described and what those guns are is that they aren't really shotgun-ey...

You've seen action heroes reload a shotgun with one hand right? They hold it vertically and jerk it up and down really hard so the cocking-thingy goes up and down by itself?
Since you technically only need one hand to do that, you could dualwield shotguns. Than you could fire them one by one, each time reloading one while firing the other. It probably would'nt work in reality because of the recoil but if it would ever happen in an action movie, I'd HAVE to see it no matter how bad it is.

Alternatively: ducktape 2 shotguns to eachother so that if one is fired, the recoil cocks the other one. Than fire one, flip it over, fire the other, flip again, fire the first again,... Continue until both are empty. This also only takes one hand (given some practice) so you could dualwield it too. So that's 4 shotguns total. Think about it, shotgun quadruplewielding...
Ofcourse there's no sane reason to do any of this, it's probably LESS efficient than just a normal gun. But dang it would look cool.

I don't have that much of an imagination, but there was a less well-known weapon from Ratchet and Clank 2.
It's basically a glove that throws electrified shurikens that break apart into more shurikens when they hit an enemy

The ravenger plasma rifle, it uses cutting edge technology and has four modes. A tight ball of plasma balls (short range) a steady burst (Medium range) a solid steady beam (long range) and a massive sphere (anti-tank)
