S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: SoC. The FPS Fallout 3 wishes it was. Especially with the complete 2009 mod. It's hard to describe it really, despite how broken it was I couldn't stop playing it. Oh and the endings are deliciously clever.

Halo (first game campaign) or Metroid Prime Corruption. Also Red Steel was fun.

Despite being less intense than most shooters, i have to go with Bioshock. Granted, Im not a big fan of FPSs, so Ive only played the greats (HL2, The CoD games, Doom, etc.) and I generally dont care that much about new releases in that particular genre, so my knowledge and experiences with FPSs are limited.

Still, really enjoyed Bioshock. Now, would you kindly agree with me on that?

For me it has to be Halo 1 as it was an amazing game and the first of the xbox games. I played it again recently and unlike so many games i replay this game still felt new. the flood were so much creepier then too.

Nazi Zombies was probably some of the most fun i have had, though the rest of the game kinda sucked.

Time Splitters 2. The amount of time I put into the multiplayer with my friends is just staggering. That game just never ever got old.

Halo 3, also. There's something I love about that series, despite my general dislike for the genre. It's probably the open battlefields. Room to improvise.

Singleplayer: HL2 + Episodes

Multiplayer: Bad Company 2

I don't think that there's much that can compare to either.

Yup! I have many good memories of that game. Among those being the first time you could lure enemies into pools of water by setting them on fire so you could zap them to death. Also I remember I once made 2 big daddies fight each other once. Oh the loot I recieved.

Playing Halo (the original) with my cazaan cousin. Especially epic was the playthrough on Legendary. The final level had us laughing like maniacs the whole time :D
