ooh I'm surpised with all the comments.

And yes, it's YOU raising your best friend's clone. Granted the wouldn't be like a exact copy of the original, but it does give them as close to a second chance at life as possible.

I would raise him/her to follow the Assassin's Creed. And at age 17, I would cut off their ring finger and make them wear a hidden blade.

Of course. Not only would I get all of my friend's assets, I'd also get a slave.

If it was their final wish, and I had the means and availability to do so, then yes. But I don't see the point.

Clones have the same genes, not the same thoughts/memories/opinions of the person. I wouldn't be friends with the clone.

Nope, nor would my friend request this. I have no initiative as a parent. Now I would heal my ailing friend with the new clone(assuming I could).

Nah, I'd be a horrible parent, and a child growing up getting ripped on all his life isn't good for development. (Good for male friendships, but not for child development)

Sure why not, they're a clone but they will be a different person entirely.
Would be interesting.

Why would you care about being a good parent? Clones aren't people...

I would... then I would secretly kill it and sell its skin to scientists for research material.
Brilliant!
Why thank you good sir.

Would you like to, shall we say, assist me in the perfection of the skinning process?
I thought you would never ask!
