Capcom vs. SNK 2 Arcade.

I was using Balrog (large boxer guy) and my friend was using Dhalism (thin guy with things inscribed on his arms). I've played this game once, and didn't beat it. My friend had beaten the game 20+ times with good scores, so i thought id get my ass kicked. He ended up taking most of my health away with fireballs and jump kicks, but i got alot of heavy punches into him. so we were both at 2 health. The bad thing was, he'd just gotten his super power thingy, which i think was a super powerful Jumpkick. He did it, but missed by about 3 pixels and i hit him with a light albow attack (the weakest attack in the game) and insta killed him.

I then procceded to laugh in his face for the next 10 minutes.

I planted a c4 satchel under a civilian car, then ignited it and watched as the car sailed through the air and rammed into a close-by north Korean helicopter. SO awesome

Secondly, I was outnumbered by russians one time and slowly dying, so i took a grenade out and primed it, held on to it and ran towards a couple of the bastards and blew them and myself straight to hell!

In Half-Life 2, when you have to use the crane to lift your car onto a platform, I first cleared out the Combine on another platform by grabbing a shipping crate and simply swinging it around, crushing them.

Attaining my 'Hardcore' Achievement (1,000 kills) on TF:2 by beating a Heavy to death with my Engineer's wrench.

I had to walk outside and have a smoke afterwards, it was that damn good.

In the Frontlines Fuel of War demo I and another player were providing air cover for our Red Star Alliance teammates on the Oil Field map. The Western Coalition had just drove a heavy tank into one of our bases and proceeded to tear our guys a new one. I swung the helicopter around and lined up the tank in my sites and emptied my rocket pods on him and the nearby infantry. Just as the tank exploded the Western Coalition helicopter flew right over the tank and was struck by the turret that had flown into the air. The pilot lost control slammed into a telephone pole and hit the ground in a flaming heap.

Halo 3 - I was playing team doubles with my friend. the enemy had opened a bubble shield in the middle of the map. because i couldn't shoot them with an assault rifle I got onto the overhanging platform with the rocket launcher. I then jumped down into the bubble shield whilst firing the rocket launcher, killing everyone in the bubble shield. i.e. me and the entire other team.

On the 'Wet Work' map on CoD4, my team was being thrashed, and nearly all of them had left, so the enemy team decided to get cocky. They all went around together in a group, and started chasing me, with their pistols out. They chased me into a corner, and stood all around me, so I ducked and turned to face the wall, they just stood there, obviously laughing at me cowering in the corner. What they didn't know was I was cooking a grenade, which I made explode in my hand, killing all of them and me, getting me 60 points in the game.My team obviously lost, but when the game ended, the enemy team were still laughing. Hah.

The funniest death in a game I've had, also on CoD4, me and 2 others set c4 around one of our sniping team members, on the mode where you don't respawn, I think it's demolition, and told him if he moved, he was dead, then we camped in the darkness of the area under the stairs, where we could see him (this was on bloc). We lay there laughing while he called us every possible insult he could think of. The joke was on us though. He popped a smoke, then ran off, leaving 3 frags where we were lying.

Properly not the best kill, but easily the funniest...

In Battlefield 2142 my team could get in to the core of the titan, but the other team held bunkered themselves in there. So I chose the sniper and found a target whom I killed with a headshot (this has happened to everyone), I thought that it, but then a medic revives the guy I thought I killed, so I shoot the guy from before in the head AGAIN, and he gets revived AGAIN.

I ended up shooting the guy 4 times in the head before I killed the medic, so the first guy would stay down.

I can think of a hundred ones for SSBM, but i think ill just regale you with one of my most epicly hilarious. 4 player game, on Corneria (the ship with the big plasma gun on the front). I was GaW, and was up against my two brothers and a freind, Who were Link, Falcon and Jigglypuff respectively. All of them were in a huge bunch, and my Falconite brother had been shooting me with perfectly charged Super Scope bullets. However, I had \/B'd them (for the uninformed, it absorbs 3 energy projectiles then you dump them all back out on them), and i obviously ran in and slapped them with the 3-super-scope-oil-attack.

We didn't even SEE Jigglypuff go flying, but we saw her crunch into the screen.
Link got ejected to about a millimeter from getting sent into the horison, but we'll talk about him later. Falcon was spinning down towards the ground, so i run in and do a meteor smash (yelling SHORYUKEN very loudly, inspired by Yhatzee's use of it in his AC review), which sent him into orbit. Link was falling down, and he decided to be clever and hookshot the edge rather than Spin Attack up.
And then, the inevitable happened. Remember i said about the guns on the front? They powered up and shot him about 30 times, racking his damage up to 650%ish and making him fly off so fast i think it caused a sonic boom.
I couldnt really tell, because i was laughing so damn hard.

My best was probably in Crysis. I was getting nailed by a sniper, so I went into stealth, walked up to the tower he was in, and threw a grenade up into the nest. The sucker had no chance. A funnier one was in Jet Force Gemini multi-player. My little brother had gone off to the washroom, but forgot to pause. He was surrounded by proximity mines when he got back.

MechWarrior 3.

I was playing against my brother; he took the heaviest 'mech in the game, loaded up with those shotgun-like close combat weapons; I, feeling superior, chose a somewhat lighter chassis and went for what I thought was a pretty balanced loadout - some long range lasers, couple of missiles, few machine guns... "Jack of all trades, king of none" would describe it pretty good.

So the game began; as we marched towards each other, I engaged him with my long range weapons, then with the medium range ones, and I did a bit of damage. Then he gets in close range and fires one salvo with his big guns.

That salvo crippled me; most weapons were destroyed and my armor was pretty much gone, so I did the only sensible thing: I ran before he could reload. Once I had something like a kilometer on him, I checked my options. I was nearly dead, and none of the heavy weapons were left except for a single long range laser. Still thinking about what to do, I casually aimed in his direction; I couldn't really see him, as the maximum view distance was pretty low in the game, so he was occluded by fog, so the shot was more or less blind.

And it hit the cockpit, killing him instantly.

The shouts of surprise came from both of us; if you haven't played the game, trust me, hitting the cockpit was damn near impossible, even at short distance. Of course, that 'silver bullet' hit was blind luck; still, sometimes that's just what you need

Best part? I wasn't aware that the shotgun was loaded with rubber slugs. My dad picked it out for me as a joke.

I believe what these thread posters were using was "irony", a subtle concept that is also commonly used in the English language.

Because you said no to Halo, I of course have 2 for it. Once, I snuck up on the enemy team (they were camping on Sandtrap, all in a nice little line) while invisible. I picked up one of the sniper rifles that littered the floor around them, but my camo picked that moment to start to fade out. One of them noticed me so I blind fired. Got all 5 of them in one shot.

My other Halo one was during Halo 2, when the first Hunters appear. I had the sniper rifle and was waiting for them to come out. They broke the doors down, and I took aim and, just to see what would happen, I shot the first one through the little slit in it's helmet. It died. Same with the other one. I was stunned, I didn't really believe you could do that.

On CoD 4 (I can't remember the map name) I was playing against an entire team with UAV Jammer (I think they were a clan, but I don't really remember). I thought I saw someone in one of the buildings, so I shot a rocket at it. I killed their entire team on accident.

On 2Fort in TF2, I tried that Scout trick where you jump on a Heavy's head and beat him to death with the bat and I succeeded.

I just realized that most of my kickass moments were complete accidents.

I'll throw mine out there...

EVE online, come across a Dominix class battleship piloted by some idiot. I'm in a Hawk assault frigate, buddy of mine is in a thorax cruiser.

After roughly 5 minutes of combat the cruiser pilot warped out because he was getting hammered by the battleship. So there's me, in my lowly frigate, chewing down the last bit of the battleship's hull. With rockets. Oh such a nice kill when you pop something 30x your size.

in MW4, I hit an enemy in the cockpit from beyond the effective range of the weapon [double gauss rifles from around 1200m]

Also, one time in CS I was able to headshot the entire opposing force with the Steyr Scout, one after another as fast as I could pull the trigger. I think there were about six of them.

Apart from those, I like getting two kills with one shot is always extremely satisfying. Especially with a pistol.
