My best kills would be anytime in TF2 when I headshot a cloaked spy while aiming at another player.
But more recently, I was playing MW2 on Highrise, and randomly threw a throwing knife into one of the office buildings and got a kill. Also on Terminal, when I threw a knife from the top of the inflatable slide. It arced perfectly and killed a sniper who was standing near the entrance to the airport.
