I made a house! With three rooms and a skylight!

I just bought this like three days ago and I'm playing on survival, so it's slow going

It's not the best picture but,

It's a hot air balloon house, with a crows nest on top. It's actually quite a bit bigger than it looks here.

At the moment the most impressive thing I've made are my mining tunnels. I did help a friend make a rather large spawn trap, but that wasn't really mine. I do have a project that I want to do, but it will take planning that I haven't begun yet.

Had a few projects I undertook, but no screenies to share... and my most impressive one, a fairly small but intricate home built over a water chasm, was on a mp server that is no more.

As far as scope, my biggest was a pyramid that peaked maybe a block or two from the ceiling. Mostly glass with stone corners, a cap of gold, a tube of lava running the height of it all, with a large bulb in the middle and secondary tubes traveling horizontally. Dropped it before I ever really did anything with the insides. :S

Had two small, but fun things I did with a friend; first was encasing a large-sized [pre-made] village in obsidian and litering the houses and a few places outside with mob spawners. The only light came from red stone torches, and was made such that, if you went in, you couldn't get out unless you died (or had admin rights). >:3

Second one was a small dummy house made to look abandoned- put signs over parts of the windows to make it look boarded up, and tree cubes to emulate overgrown bushes... even had a little "condemned" sign out front. XD Purpose was to troll a thief that was prowling about. Upon opening the door, there was a pressure plate that would trigger all the tnt blocks below the floor and promptly vaporize anyone attempting to get to the... um... I think it was a lone diamond towards the back or something.

May load up MC again. It's been several months since I played, and:

I don't have a picture, but I recreated the Deku Tree dungeon from Ocarina of Time, that was fun. And most of the Dodongo Cavern.

Thank you :D I've made some other buildings but I don't think anything I've made can top the Arcology yet.

I unfortunately don't have pictures, but on xbox I made a massive three story pirate ship, four including the bridge. Then there was the fortress, with three walls for three layers of protection.

The trouble I find, is that I end up with largely empty structures. I get all that space, ideas for what all the rooms would be, then I kinda forget about it, or don't know how to portray said rooms.

Yeah... the massive pyramid I abandoned? No clue what to do on the inside.

My small-ish house over the water chasm? Filled with details and pretty to look at. I was actually quite pleased with myself. There was an upper floor and balcony that remained fairly barren, though...

Suppose if you're looking for suggestions I'd say a farm of some kind[footnote]Like a tree, mushroom, wheat or monster farm.[/footnote]. Never messed with making one myself... but the only other thing I can conjure would be more "artistic" fixtures like massive room-spanning sculptures or water features or the like.

I'm pretty pleased about my massive multi-room tree house (the tree IS the house). Built by hand in survival mode, the tree trunk is 8x10 blocks, the main chamber that opens up at the top of the trunk is inside the tree canopy, with other rooms built inside/on the branches.

The tree hugs a fairly tall cliff closely, and hidden behind some vines at the base of the trunk is an entrance to an underground mine.

Golems patrol the perimeter and if you look for him, a snowman is keeping the enchanting library nice and cool.

I might even post a pic if I'm not too lazy to boot up minecraft.

I made a giant spartan (halo) helmet in the sky... It was made out of wool and it was pretty hard to find all the collective dyes...

Me and a buddy are rebuilding Runescape as close to 1:1 as the different games will allow. We have Lumbridge done and it looks awesome so far.

Otherwise on my old server I build a pretty cool submarine and we all helped build a massive city.

On the Minecraft server I host, I made a big suspension bridge, which also served a practical function because there's an active railway down the middle of it:

I also made this huge tree:

I'm not very creative in minecraft, I mainly just like the survival aspect.

But the best thing I ever created was a giant Nyan cat. But I lost the save and so I cant put a picture up.

Haven't really played, thinking about it for a while just as time sink.

But if I do get it and try to make an awe striking creation, I have an idea for a giant obsidian city carved from the ceiling of a giant carver, all over a sea of magma. And over top of it on the surface will rise an obelisk that will have an observation deck on the top of it. I would call this city either Dis or Pandemonium.

You guys all have far more patience than me. Kudos to you.

I've made plenty of fancy castles, tree houses, shacks, villages and the like, but nothing like the amazing things you guys have done.
I try playing it with my buddy and his kid on a server but whenever I log in, he's been really busy and built these amazing things around my hovel. So I just don't bother anymore.
