Everyone has had those moments on multiplayer. You find teammates who don't just charge in with guns a blazing, or steal your kills. Instead, they help, watch your back, risk their neck to help you out.

I've recently had one on the ME3 multiplayer.

The challenge is Silver. We're facing Geth. My team is made up of me, a Human Engineer, a Krogan Sentinel, a Salarian Infiltrator and a Human Vanguard. So far, its been good. The Vanguard hasn't been spamming Nova or Charge, but instead sticking to their guns, and only rushing in on the big groups. The Sentinel? Well, he's running around, laughing and headbutting but he's not taking kills or dying on us.

Me? I'm with the Infiltrator. Experience has taught me that when you're busy sniping, you don't watch your back. My little Combat Drone is hovering nearby. Then it happens. My Drone moves, and I get ready. It's a Pyro, and behind him are at least three other Geth. I go for the Pyro, the others are easy to take down. But what I don't know, is that we're being flanked. I manage to take down the Pyro, but I die in the process.

I just hope that the Infiltrator has run. There's so sense in both of us dying.

Then, out of nowhere, I hear the laughter. The Krogan runs by, knocking back the Geth and filling them with bullets. The Vanguard is close behind him, throwing Shockwaves. I see the flicker of the Tactical Cloak, and before I know it, I'm back on my feet. Overloading has never felt so good.

We went on to win that round. And two more after that. Sadly, I had to leave, but let me tell you. That was the best three games I have ever played.

So, what was your best experience? Be it COD, Halo, Assassin's Creed or whatever. What was your best multiplayer experience?

Hmm. Can't say when I ever had a great squad to play with that I remember, but I do know of one of my CoD2 matches.

We were on Carentan (I think) and the other team was getting beaten back pretty heavily. Well, I had just spawned and was running to go find them. I noticed that enemies were spawning in one of the buildings in the corner. So I chuck in a grenade to see who I could get. I doubted it would be much, they're probaby near the windows and I was chucking it near the back of the room an-

8 kills.

Well, fuck me sideways and rip me a new one, THAT was a first. Probaby the best moment of my gaming career, despite dying half a minute after. I spawned again in the same place and threw another grenade, but I was ungodly lucky the first tim-

8 more kills.

Best. Game. Ever.

Halo: Reach. Big Team Battle match on Breakpoint. The match begins as expected. Both teams spawn and half the team heads for the Banshee. Then it does that weird thing where it goes back to the game loading screen. When the game restarts my whole team has left me to go up against a team of 8 reds. Bastards.

Soon enough the silence is filled with the sound of the opposing teams Banshee, Warthog and Ghost. I know that if I don't leg it the next ten minutes will be filled with me getting spawn killed repeatedly. I make a choice to pick up both the Rocket Launcher and Sniper Rifle. Usually I don't like it when people pick up two power weapons but these where exceptional circumstances.

My first target is the enemies Banshee. I know that if I don't take it out it will be a pain in the ass all through the match. Thankfully I am able to take it down easily as it wasn't looking in my general direction. I then take a page out of How to Snipe by Garrus Vakarian and go guerrilla on their asses.

There was one point where they were able to constantly kill me for a minute or two but I recovered in time to put a good lead for the next 5 minutes. Thankfully the two people on their team using the Ghosts where pissing about so I could take them down quickly before they became a problem.

End of the match, 8-56 to me and many messages filled with hate and threats of hacking or saying they would report me. Didn't care. I won fair and square because at that moment in time I was the greatest gamer who had ever lived. The sad part is that I will never be able to do something quite as spectacular as that again. I hope you enjoyed my little tale.

Edit: I just realized that while the OPs best experience is when his team helps him mine is because my team buggered off. Funny that.

Any of the Battlefield games can be completely epic when you're with friends. Like dropping an enemy chopper onto a few other enemies, or sneaking into the enemy base and stealing their attack chopper. (Awesome!) Even watching several enemy choppers coming at you from the horizon has a cool "we're fucked" awesomeness to it.

But some of my best moments have got to be in Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, epic comebacks activate!

Investigation mode Phoenix Wright vs Dark Phoenix. FIGHT! How I won that one i'll never know... I suspect he didn't jump.

I really like the competitive scene for UMVC3 for some reason. Like how whenever any Wesker makes his trademark comeback the crowd just chants "Weeeeessskkeeeeeeeer!" in a really mocking tone of voice, he's just such an overpowered anchor it's not even funny anymore.

*Someone uses Super Skrull* "INNNFFFFEEEERRRNOOO"

And how everyone hates ChrisG's Morrigan/Hidden Missles team. Fireball hell indeed.

Gonna play some UMVC3 nao kthx bai

'Dark Wesker Rises!'

Yeah, nobody likes Wesker and nobody likes anyone who uses Wesker.

How the fuck he hasn't been nerfed is beyond me. They nerf Wright's invincible assist but not Wesker? The fuck?

Some of my most tense moments have been during UMvC3 matches.

The feeling you get from having all but your anchor wiped out, while your opponent still has all 3 characters and then pulling victory from the jaws of defeat is incredible.

The opposite is also true, nothing feels like such a kick to the balls than dominating a player, only for them to bring in Wesker with level 4 X-factor (yes, level 4, stupid fucking sunglasses) and getting wiped.

Honestly I had plenty of good multiplayer experiences that I can't remember the best one of them all!

I guess one of them was in Guild Wars doing the Cathedral of Flames dungeon quest before the solo farmers took over it.
I was playing as my warrior and I love doing that quest since as long you in a good team (who won't died) you can rank alot of money and some rare loots. Anyway I was in a team in which we work together and making some small talks so it wasn't another boring dungeon rush. We had a fun time that we played that dungeon two more times.

Well the one good thing about losing that invincible assist was that I actually had to go and learn the character (shocking!) rather than just Objection, hard tag, assist spam. Seriously X-23 rushdown and Break the Witness assist was just awesome.

I still have to go and throw out that assist at a bad time whenever there's been a patch just to see if they rebuffed it... *sigh* Couldn't they give it Hyper Armour at least?!

And yeah I once got wiped out by someone's Felicia simply because nobody uses her so I don't know what the fuck she can do, got destroyed by that dive kick alone. I'm trying to learn Trish for my B team cuz PW's runaway works better with a beam assist (refuse to use proper villains so Doom's awesome assists are out) and I don't want to use Vergil's Rapid Slash assist because he's my reliable damage guy and it's just begging to get Shinku'd on the way in.

Plus if i'm stuck with just Trish I may as well just give up, I need to learn some of her fly/unfly/double jump combos. Swagneto style

Level 4 X-Factor Wesker you say? That means he'll be pressing buttons no? Or even better throwing Maximum Wesker out on incoming to get rid of the glasses.

"The one who actually commited the crime... IS YOU!"

1.2 million damage with lvl 3 X-Factor. Suck it Wesker. I don't care if you were at full health, nobody can escape the power of the law!

And snapping an obvious Dark Wesker in early usually results in terrified backflips away from you, right into the teleport *****... And blocking the hard tag and instantly snapping Wesker back in again is so satisfying.

I like Vergil... There's something cool about having two power up hypers. It's just the "i'm pissed" button. Devil Trigger, Spiral Swords. COME AT ME BRO!

Yeah, Vergil is insane if he gets you into a corner.

Use High Time, teleport to the ground and if they're not clever enough to air recover away from the corner, I superjump and grapple them and restart the whole combo again.

Spiral Swords is probably his best tool, it's essentially a shield that also deals damage, so it makes Doom's Finger Lasers look like shit, since it blocks all non-hyper projectiles and even some hyper projectiles (Finger Lasers).

When you get him into a rythm and 'get motivated', he's a force to be reckoned with, but a balanced force, not Dark Wesker Rising OP.

Playing team fortress and running into your evil clone. Awkwardly stare at eacother for a full minute then stab the spy disquising as me.

either that or finding somebody online who knows how to actually use voice commands. I just the communication between two players using only motions wonderful becuase it shows that people don't need mikes to communicate eventually.

A two and a half hour long match with a friend in Dynasty Tactics 2.

It was a battle of attrition that eventually ended in a pyrrhic victory for me.

CSS - scrim on Dust 2.

A couple of rounds in, it's pretty even. My team was defending. Can't remember exactly what happened, but we had all 5 alive towards the end of a round and the terrorists only had one bloke alive. Both bomb sites had two defenders, so I decided to roam around and look for the remaining terrorist. Think all I had was a Deagle.

Roam through T spawn from mid, walk up the hill and over through T spawn towards the tunnels.

As I go through the archway leading to the openish space before reaching the tunnels, I see a flash of movement out of the corner of my eye right at the entrance to the tunnels.

Reacting instantly, I jump, spin towards the tunnel, and fire off a round.

Takes the terrorist in the back of the skull just as he is entering the tunnels. Round over, we win.

Next round - after a barrage of "omg hax" calls, the terrorists rage quit. Hilarity ensues.

Used to have plenty of stories like that, have forgotten most of them, that one always stood out though because it was such a ridiculous shot.

City of Heroes, when you gather the most random, ragtag team ever, guys who are kind of focused in bad areas, and you survive some crazy mission. It's truly beautiful, truly.

By far the best moment was helping people with my German Knight, rushing in and broadswording evil's face while they were distracted fighting my buddies, and cutting off the last guy trying to make his escape. Get this, the guy jumps over a balcony on the first floor. I see him, and jump toward him on an opposite balcony, and just fucking behead the guy mid-air, as we're both falling down to the ground. Everybody was cheering, it was awesome.

I logged into a match of Payday: The Heist about a month ago, and we were like a well oiled machine.
We started out on diamond heist, and anyone who has played this game will tell you how hard it is to stealth on this like your supposed to, we were laying the final alarm tablet when we were spotted but from then on we only needed to use out ammo bags because we were taking almost no hits.
We went on to complete the first 3 maps on overkill difficulty and the other 3 on hard
that was a good day

I was on Halo 3 playing 2v2 on blackout with my buddy. We were absolutely pwning the other guys. At one point, they decided to stand behind a bubble shield and taunt us. I followed up with a power drainer across the map and knock the shield away. Both tried to run and almost got away but we got them. Absolute awesomeness.
But it didn't stop there. They decided to just camp on the other side of the map the rest of the game. My friend took a minute to sneak over to them and took them by surprise.... They quit the game afterwards and we laughed for god knows how long.
