I'll say 'Every headshot I made in the original UT.'

People wanted to play snipers-only for so long I just became a brain-surgeon.

That, and UT's sniper rifle is unquestionably the most broken sniper rifle in just about any shooter ever. Hitscan weapon, 50 shots, near-semi-auto firing rate, zero recoil (being UT, of course), one of the best variable scopes ever, and of course, laser-precision when not scoped.
Combine that with surprisingly forgiving headshot hit detection and you have a broken-ass weapon.

Its only contenders were the Shock Rifle and Flak Cannon (and circumstantially, Rocket Launcher).

A no scope for people who don't know is in games (mostly FPS) that without using your sniper scope you get a kill.

Games that have a cross-hair when using a sniper-rifle don't count becuase having the cross-hair makes it too easy to get a no-scope.

So my best no-scope was yesterday in Bad Company 2. I was playing with my friends on steam and we were playing Anrica Harbor rush and I was on a ledge attacking the 2nd set of A and B from a distance. Someone from the enemy team was running on the bottum of the ledge and I quickly looked, shot once without aiming and got a head shot.

It was awesome.

I found kills in Bad company 2 a lot more satisfying, don't know why.

Mine is actually from BC2. It was on the huge desert map with the crashed tanker in the middle (forget the name). Some prick was circling our main spawn point with a Hind. I spawned, turned, fired and headshotted him. I did a little dancing as the helicopter came crashing down.

Halo 3. Team Snipers. Firing randomly and betray my friend from halfway across the map. I fired at a wall too. Turns out the bullet rebounded and hit him in the head.

Yeah that one, love it.

I think it's cause it turns into an epic battle between tanks, choppers and foot soldiers. No other map has so many vehicles.

Had so many epic moments on that map.

No-scoping is only with [HEADING=3]Sniper Rifles.[/HEADING]

I'm just gonna say it, that's lame, I put up a fantastic post about getting a head shot with a pistol in Halo 2, I wasn't even looking at the screen, and then you edit the first post to sniper rifles only? Who cares if it's a sniper rifle or not? No scoping someone from a long distance is the only thing someone should be bragging about and doing it with a weapon that isn't supposed to work like that is even epicer.

But in Halo there is no sight, so say that is a no scope is like saying all your kills are no scopes.

True, the pistol in halo has a scope and it could technically be called a no-scope becuase you got a kill without using the scope but without it, it is the normal way to shoot, while for snipers, its normal to use the scope.

No-scoping isn't really a distance thing, its more or less getting a lucky shot without aiming.

In Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter(the xbox ver not the 360 remake) it's REALLY easy to no-scope. Especially with the "elephant gun" with exploding bullets. Doesn't even matter if you HIT with that gun, let alone get a headshot!

TF2, I tried to no scope an enemy when I popped around the corner. I shot and missed him, but, killed one of his teammates all the way on the other side of the map. It was neat. I also killed a cloaked spy once shooting at a sign, I was zoomed though, he just happend got be at the wrong spot ant exactly that moment.

Not to be the downer here, but doesn't no scoping defeat the purpose of using a sniper rifle? This thread should be called "Your best dumb luck shot"

No..? Yes sure the point of a sniper-rifle is to use its scope but its still cool to get no-scopes.

Tried to shoot a button on a TF2 map (with buttons, surf or something. I was just bored, so we made such competition with my friend - who'll hit the button from quarterway across the map) with sniper without zooming, accidentally killing enemy spy which was standing around. Not sure if it was a headshot or just a normal kill.

BC2 i was circling round a shipping container and a guy ran around the corner panic fired with the most powerful sniper in the game from 5ft away

I'll have to go with Bad Company 2.
I was piloting the heli for my team (Rush, we took the first set, moving to Lighthouse), when my pals did a driver swap, so I could drop in behind enemy lines in Valipariso (or something like that) Sitting in the bay left side, I saw a guy running for the Lighthouse. We were over the UAV station at the time. I couldnt get a good steady shot while the chopper was moving, so I idly pulled the trigger w/o scoping in. Headshot. I did a little victory dance tbh.

No..? Yes sure the point of a sniper-rifle is to use its scope but its still cool to get no-scopes.
