It wasn't by any means a good competitive team (never been good in the battle sims, don't have the patience to EV-train up an in-game team), but it certainly got the job done in-game. Basically it amounted to "Haxorus unleashes hell on the enemy, and any Steels are dealt with by everyone else." Haxorus is an in-game beast; at level 87 currently, it's the closest I've gotten since my first starter pokemon (Blaziken, in Sapphire) to raising a pokemon to level 100. Might've been there by now if I could find the cartridge...
