AD&D, some 12 or 13 years ago. I forgot what class I was playing, but I think I had a samurai sword or something similar. Still a low level, me vs. golem. My buddies had run the hell away when the golem picked me up. I attack, saying I wanted to take a head-shot. Natural 20, high damage, decapitated him. Leveled up with solo XP. FUCK YEAH.
I can only hope I do something that awesome again.

Best stat rolls were three eighteens and the rest were either sixteens or fifteens. Now best roll in game I nat 20 the boss three times in a row so yeah our first boss was insta killed by the ranger.
