Best? I dunno... Lost Planet worked pretty well.
Seriously? I hated the game on PC. They didn't change the button prompts onscreen or in the options menu for the controller layout (they kept the Xbox 360 controller and button images), turning felt way too sluggish over the console version, and nary a soul appeared online. Good thing it was only $5.

What the fuck, Captcha?

Worst is Resident Evil 4, awful controls, no mouse support. The graphics were terrible too.

As for the best one, Assassins Creed 2 comes to mind, everything felt very smooth.

I just bought the Oddboxx yesterday, and I have to say that Strangers Wrath is THE worst ported game EVER... of all time

Worst PC port - Resident Evil 4.
Never got past the first zombie because it played like arse.

Best Port - Monday Night Combat
Been reengineered for the PC completely.

Worst:
Saint's Row 2 by faaaaaaaaaaar
Halo 2 (especially since the Halo:CE port was pretty good)
GTAIV was pretty bad. The worst part about Rockstar games is they're always LATE in terms of years, not months.

Saint's Row 2. Shoddy port, shoddy performance, shoddy driving. That and the vehicle controls are just horrible.
Amen brother, GTA IV may have performance issues, but they aren't as bad as SR2, and at least they made the cars drivable with wasd in GTA IV. Hell I had an ATI card when I got GTA IV so it just went black and I still think SR2 is the worst port.

Good ports, I don't think I play many ports, I certainly don't notice good ones, it is really only the bad ports I notice.

Best: Actually I haven't had any issues with any of my games save for one, so I'll go with TF2

Worst: GTA IV. I'd be incredibly pissed if I hadn't gotten it for 5 bucks but I'm still mad it's so terribly designed. I and my friend have mid-high end graphics cards (5770 and a fermi 460) and we can't play higher than medium settings and even then it continues to chug. Heck even on low settings it chugs when things get even slightly busy.

Best? Just Cause 2 and Metro 2033 most recently, although they weren't ports in the traditional sense - they felt like they were built for the PC and then the console versions were scaled back, which is how it should be.
Fucking Just Cause 2 is so damn awesome on PC, especially since you can just look around for some mods when you get good and bored. :D

OT: Worst for me is easily IL2, err I mean Wings of Prey. It's the PC ported version of IL-2 Sturmovik and it's a heap of shit if I ever saw one. They even changed the name. Why?? I mean, what's the point of that?

Best PC ported game is hard to think of, since most of my games are made for PC anyway. I'd have to go for Oblivion tho, since it's really easily accessable, plays better on PC and has huge acess to mods once you get bored, which are always awesome.
