Yeah, another one of these. You know the drill: talk about show you like, present music, share and compare with others.
Still my favorite anime intro ever. More than Bebop or Dragonball Z. Post yours, talk about shows, normal spiel.

I hold on to my opinion that Gravity Falls is one of the greatest Disney cartoon series of all time. The intro gets me pumped every time I watch it, and the show itself lives up to it spectacularly.

I dunno, really. I tend to watch things on box set form rather than as single episodes on TV, so after the first few I'm frantically skipping past the theme song just so I don't have to hear it yet again regardless of how much I liked it originally.

That said, the X-Men cartoon from the 90's is fucking epic.

Always made me so stoked to watch. Fairly generic rock to be sure, but you just can't go wrong with some screeching guitars.

Actually, all TAS intros were bitchin'.

Batman's always kinda scared me as a kid though.

Here's a show I can't claim to like (a few good episodes, but only on for a very short half season trial run) but I really liked these kinds of shows and wish someone could bring the genre back (twilight zone/night gallery that sort of thing.) NBC ran a short lived "scary story of the week" show called "Fear Itself." Not the greatest of the "of the week" genre, but fun and at least a little creepy. Here's the pretty awesome intro though, the song an edited verson of "Lie Lie Lie" by System of a Down's Serj Tankian.

I really think a show like this could be done using dramatizations of some of the better creepypasta entries. Even though the mouse would crush its existance... the abandoned disneyland and creepy Mickey would be sweet live action. If produced and written well (do like Twilight Zone and get GOOD guest writers every week) it could be pretty sweet.

I love that so much. I've had semi-rows with my husband 'cause I refused to skip them on each episode when we had ST:V marathons.

Someone posted Batman: TAS above. I grew up with its successor, The Batman (which I've always considered a really good cartoon) and the opening for the first couple of seasons was done by The Edge from U2, and was really awesome and atmospheric:

Later on they replaced it with some generic rocky stuff, which was a real shame.

As for ridiculously catchy, look no further than:

(apologies for the poor quality though.)

So catchy it still slips into my head every now and again.

Not technically a tv show, but I'm loving the RWBY soundtracks right now. The theme tune is probably my fave out of all the series's songs.

Kind of liked the intro for Clone High as it tried to parody teen drama

Extreme Dinosaurs also deserve a mention for the over abundance of 90's in it

One that I also like is the TMNT theme, its just so catchy

About the only thing consistently good about Voyager. Though I've always been partial to Deep Space Nine's theme.

GiTS intros are pretty bad ass. Good choice!

For me, I love the opening intro to Wonderfalls, courtesy of Andy Partridge from XTC.
