I went to the state curriculum contest in Oklahoma history 11th grade and got second, then I went my senior year in Biology and got third.
Let's see.
High-school, it would probably be either getting 99th percentile on the ACT despite literally taking a nap in the middle of it, or helping my team go to nationals in a robotics competition (with a few of my teammates and I taking first place for our oral presentation).
In university, I was one of only two students to get an A on an upper-level English essay... despite having just transferred to English from an engineering major. 'Cause I'm awesome like that.

I got a B in GCSE English Language and Literature despite my English teacher loosing five out of six pieces of coursework.
And my writing ability is definitely below average, the main reason I'm studying Mathematics at university instead of physics because I couldn't do the physics exam to a high enough quality.
Also, failing IT by choice. I found the course so patronising and easy it actually angered me, so I refused to participate. My little stand, and I'm still more competent with computers than most.

You weren't very specific about what years of our school life (elementary, high, college, etc.) but here's what I've got:
Elementary - Being class president (just call me "El Presidente")
High School - Going to a dance with my first love
- Being a school photographer (so I can get out of class any time I wanted)
- Getting High Honors (no biggie)
College - Getting a kick-ass internship during summers

In terms of effort, probably the ~300 pages of write-up I produced in a 9-week period for a class a few years ago.
In terms of prestige, probably being admitted to one of the most well-regarded doctoral programs in the world for my field (and having them pay for the whole thing).

Actually, one of my English teachers in year 10 was so impressed by a story I wrote for the creative writing component of a mock exam that he scored it "A+++" and requested persmission to show it to his 12th grade classes as an example to prepare them for their exams.

Winging all my exams at GCSE apart from history and getting 2 As, 2 Cs and about 10 other Bs. Then getting 2 Bs at AS-Level core maths. Now if I get a D in my mechanics resit or better in any further maths subject (sans further pure) I will get an A at AS.
After that I need to get decent grades for at least 3 Bs at A-Level. I will have 2 extra AS-Level grades though so that should make it a little better if I don't get that.

I got my Master's thesis done and defended before I graduated, I only had about six months for the whole project and had to write the paper itself in just a few weeks.
Though maybe actually getting a job was more of an accomplishment, lol.

Not strangling a very certain few fuckheads. Well, not "few" really... there were a fair number of fuckheads I wanted to turn inside-out, ESPECIALLY in middle school. Virtually every one of my friends agree that an eternity of 7th grade is the worst possible punishment one could endure.
So basically, surviving the whole damn thing. There were a few good days, about a half-dozen truly good teachers and classes, and the rest of it can rot in hell, for all I care.

I won several awards for English and SOSE, from both the UNSW and the Australian History Competition. I was in the top 3% for the country.
I did all of the research and writing for a Music History term paper in one night. It ended up at 15 1/2 pages plus the bibliography. I did a fair bit of bull shitting but I still ended up with 81%.
I managed to single handedly shut down the other 71 students (I was literally the only person in the political party) in my grade during a school sponsored political debate back in year 8. Sadly it didn't end up counting for shit, since the mock elections that were being held were ALL grades, and all the lower year teachers blatantly told their classes to vote for who the teacher wanted to win.
Aside from that, in year 9, I managed to get the highest grade in my photography class. I beat out 27 other people, 22 of which were using photoshop to fix their pictures, and all I had was the XP version of MS Paint.
During the final days of year 10, I managed to write a 10 page research paper without actually reading the book in the course of one night, getting no sleep in the process. This proved less than helpful, because the next day I had 2 essay tests back to back. The first was a single 5 paragraph essay, not too difficult, but the second was 4 5 paragraph essays, all 4 of which had to be completed in a 50 minute period. I got straight B's on everything.

You do realize that to some people that was probably one of their biggest academic achievements of all, and they really struggled with it. I know a couple of people like that myself.triggrhappy94 said:
OT: Not really sure. I'm still in my freshman year of college, and to be frank i've never actually put much effort into schoolwork. Despite that i'm suddenly getting better grades in college than i did in High School.
So... academic achievement? On paper it's still my high school graduation, but what i'm the most proud of is probably that one time i wrote 3 different papers in one night and got them all turned back with A's on them
