First, welcome to the Escapist.
Second, oh... I don't know... spiders, snakes, falling from high places, pain, death, bugs in general, and the apocalypse, to name a few.

Fears in gaming?

Mine would be horrible game-play.

In real life, it would have to be cars. When I walk down the street I have a irrational fear of them, I think their going to hit me.

To be truthful, none.
I'm not trying to be tough it's just I find nothing scary.

I think spiders and snakes are cool.
And death will come, so why be afraid, which helps with not being afraid of anything that could cause death.

Actually, I think the only thing that would cause me real fear is if a loved one is in danger, then I would be scared, yet try to save them.

Yes and welcome to the Escapist.

Don't feed trolls.
Don't mind the dead bodies, MaxtheReaper and Neonbob can get messy.
Don't give out your address.

you forgot a few.

if you go into a religion thread, or has even the slightest HINT of a reg. thread, bring your flamer shield. and flamer block. highest spf you can find.

watch out for people such as myself, who occasionally feel like ripping people apart. the pyramid of people you need to look out for

MaxTheReaper- Escapist's most wanted
Neonbob- bad, but does not happen as much as Max.
Myself (I have a god complex, okay?)

90% of the escapist users.

do not start a reg. thread or an opinion thread or a belief thread. these will only end in tears, no matter how many you do.

right up there with Max's dark side- the BANHAMMER. 'nuff said.

anyway, mine is facing death- not death itself, but facing death, such as that of a loved one- and not being able to do anything about it. it's inaction, feeling like a small, powerless child i fear.

EDIT: if any of you rag on me for being a softie, i will make you wish you got on MaxTheReaper's bad side.

Growing old, alone

I don't mind dying young alone, or growing old with someone, but that one up there is all I'm afraid of

Hrm, I panic when I suspect someone I know might die, so that's possibly my greatest fear.

On the other hand, the physical fear I feel when I'm getting needles or shots or any sort of narrow metal thing going through me is much greater. I spent 45 minutes hyperventilating when they gave us the Hep B needles, at school, in front of everyone. o_o Embarrassing, much?

losing the ability to think properly. for example, getting alzheimers, going into a coma, that sort of thing.

truly and utterly terrifying prospects to me.
