anyway, mine is facing death- not death itself, but facing death, such as that of a loved one- and not being able to do anything about it. it's inaction, feeling like a small, powerless child i fear.

EDIT: if any of you rag on me for being a softie, i will make you wish you got on MaxTheReaper's bad side.
I do not call you a softie.
The death of a loved one is a terrible thing.

And how far you go to protect somebody precious to you, in my opinion, showes how much of a man you really are.

I would put my life on the line to protect those precious to me, and it sounds like you are the same way.

You should be afraid. Theres someone alive right now, who's going to die by falling into a meat grinder

First: that was a slightly strange post, ok more than slightly strange.

Second: and I don't want to sound rude or heartless, people die all the time, some in grusome fashions. However, if that did happen to somebody, I did not know them and did not know it happened therefore I wasn't afraid.

I would be sad to find out that happened. Don't misunderstand, I know that's happened before and will likely happen again and I'm sorry for anybody that dies in such a grusome way.

Thirdly: Ok, I'll admit that post was creepy.

Bears!!

Not really, I'm kind of a sociopath so I don't really feel fear. At least not in the way i have seen others feel and express it.

Yes death is scary, when dealing with somebody I know and love.

However I'm not afraid of myself dying. It will come when it will, be that a car crash tomorrow, I get rich and am murdered, or of old age, it will come when it will.

Don't mind the dead bodies, MaxtheReaper and Neonbob can get messy.
Don't give out your address.

...and you'll be fine.
You'll probably be fine....

As for my biggest fear, I'm not entirely sure, although being truely alone may be it.

Syringes.

I have an abnormal and irrational fear of injections, syringes, making a "plunger" motion with fingers, pictures of any of the aforementioned etc.

It would be manageable if I wasn't studying pharmaceutics and the parenteral route is a common route of administration.

Spiders, may those evil little bastards rot in the hell they were spawned from. They are also the reason I will never visit Australia or South America.

Uh.. I don't really know.

I've never lost a loved one (while alive at least. A grandfather before I was born. Didn't really matter to me though since like I said, I wasn't born.)

I have three main fears.

Losing someone after arguing with them/insulting them and not making up.

Pain.

Being afraid. Especially during a situation where the last thing you want to do is lose your cool.

"ZOMBIES ARE ATTACKING! HERE'S A SHOTGUN! LOOKOUT ONE OF THEM IS CHARING AT YOU!"

"..HOW DO I FIRE THIS THIIINNNGG!!!"

These are more like specifics of vague fears.. But that doesn't matter really.

Science says people fear what they don't understand and/or whatever upsets them.

Where does this lead? My fear of secrets.
