When I was 17 I met a girl from the internet that turned out to be feds on a paedophile hunt.

They kinda took pity on me when I burst into tears and gave me a lecture about meeting strange people online.

I cut off an ambulance once. And yes, it had the sirens going and everything. It was leaving the hospital, and I was coming up too fast. I was afraid that if I braked, that I'd get rear-ended (in retrospect, I almost certainly would not have). So I blazed through the intersection, cut off the ambulance, and almost caused an accident.

I felt like a proper douchebag after that. I'm just lucky (and thankful), that:

1. I didn't cause an accident

2. There weren't any cops around to see that (I would have gotten a ticket for reckless driving if I was LUCKY)

3. That the ambulance was LEAVING the hospital rather than GOING to it, as forcing an ambulance to break hard with a patient inside would have been something I'm not sure I could have dealt with.

As it stands, it's still something I regret to this day. Doesn't help that I pass that hospital every day on my way to work... and I work at a DIFFERENT hospital.

Probably failing my IGSCEs, yeah i resat them and passed but after that, life went downhill somewhat, got sent to a school that pretty much drove me to the verge of suicide with the way it ran itself (it was pretty much a christian school ran by hitler and a corrupt 'justice' system). Ever since then life's been a bit hard, not exactly bad, but Im not exactly happy, like how I used to be.

Multiple times?

Yeeeeah, multiple times here.

Finally got the hint this time around. That shit never works, no matter how good she is in bed.

Just once.

A person I once called best friend were spiraling downward.

I took her boyfriend from her for a night and regret every bit of it. Even if at that point we hated one another and we were both being manipulated by a mutual "friend." Still I did the wrong thing.

Accidentally rebooting a customers phone system during peak business hours... around 200 extensions blocked making/receiving calls for about 5 minutes. A company that big, and doing what this particular client did, lost a lot of money during this time.

Thankfully I wasn't bent over my desk because of it!

I'm still a learner driver, yet I've done something that could easily have made it into one of those "driver fail" compilations on YouTube. I was sitting at a crossroads (no traffic lights, the town is far too small for that) yet I was not on the main road. But for some reason that I still do not know today, I thought I had right of way and just went on through. The only reason I didn't cause an accident was because the other vehicle on the main road was slowing down to turn.

Probably the lowest point in my life so far, and the one that made me feel the shittiest afterwards. I have no idea how the fuck I did that. Just mind blanked, I guess.

Edit: Also destroyed my motivation to continue driving as well.
I had literally the same thing happen to me around 2 years ago, except I sped up when I realized my mistake and the incoming sports car was able to barely swerve and avoid me. He was speeding like a goddamn madman but he still technically had the right of way; I just didn't see him coming because I suck at driving.

My motivation to continue learning to drive was likewise obliterated.
Eyuup. Same thing happened to me, only I didn't think I had the right of way - I just couldn't see the traffic since the opposite lane going left was blocking my view. I stepped on the gas and the incoming car must've missed me by a fucking centimeter. If I had put on the brakes instead I'm sure I would've killed my mom and injured myself and the other driver badly. He came in like a fucking bullet... Most probably because I'm sure his light had just switched to red.

Definetly a huge fuck up on my part. Should never have driven without making sure first.
I kept test driving though(however I felt a bit shit for a while) and eventually got my license one year ago. No accidents yet.

Buying some marked down sausages from the Loughborough Tesco at the end of September 2007.

Not only did that decision very nearly kill me, the fallout of it has made the last seven years of my life much harder than they necessarily should have been.

All because of some cheap fecking sausages, if nothing else it's something I have in common with Michael Johnson.

My isn't so bad compared to the ones I'm reading here...
I'm a pretty cautious person, but the most recent one would be leaving the carwindows open when washing the workcar.
It was a little wet inside afterwrads, but I think nothing worse happened.

Relatively recently I alienated almost all my friends and family by being an anxious nutcase. I only have two friends who I'm not particularly close to left, so that whole thing I guess?

...No... Wait... I can do one better. I accidently set a refrigerator on fire once... It was beautifully awful.

Yep. That'll just about do it.

Edited: Due to paranoia! :D
