I, too, am going to have to say Fable 3. I thought rallying the factions to your cause was pretty cool but

once you become King (or Queen), there was so little freedom to do what you wanted, especially with your new title. Not that I would want it, but why couldn't I order an army to follow me on quests? The whole "exploit your subjects to get enough money to save them in the face of the impending doom" choices were interesting but you were sped along that year WAY too fast.

And I didn't even know it was the final boss fight until I beat it.

In essence, it was wasted potential.

Dragon Age II. I still love the game and everything about it, but

The fucking ENDING, man. Out of all the games to inspire an ending, BioWare went with Halo 2? Seriously, the cliffhanger is insane, and the reasoning for it is so much worse.

How the fuck did Hawke go missing? And why would they kick me in the balls by making my Warden go missing too? What are they building towards with this? There's some obvious looming threat but I really want to know what the hell is going on sooner rather than later.

I can't believe they had the sheer balls to do this.
I just finished that, i think i was about to punch my computer. Shit was just getting awesome, leliana shows up, circles are rebelling, the worlds gone more crapsackish then Origins, and whats biowares answer? Credits, its a ballsy move, and an annoying one, i can only hope that they make up for it with DA3
First of all, spoiler that shit.

Second,

I wasn't sure if it'd always be Leliana or not, because my Warden romanced her. I just assumed that she joined to get him back. I guess that proves it though.

When fallout new Vegas on xbox 360 turned out to be buggy and glitchy in very annoying ways. Specifically item boxes that erase your loot at random.
That happened to me in 3 as well
Im not sure but in oblivion sometimes npcs will take stuff out of containers that you dont own, Mabey it happens in fallout to.
I lost my stuff in the lucky 38 casino, in the room that I own. The game doesn't even let your companions in the room with you. The only characters possible would be the Robotrons.

Does it count as a let down if I'm disappointed in the popularity(and abuse) of the Call of Duty franchise among my generation?

Because I actually had faith in us for a little while there.
Really? I'm an avid RPG fan, but even I see that Call of Duty (Or atleast the best game in the series yet, black ops) is just mindless fun, but you are acting as if it's lowers your IQ or something. I see it in a way like Family guy. Crude and simple, yes, but not stupid.
Not necessarily Call of Duty itself, but a large percentage of the people who play it are complete douchebags. And it doesn't help.

I really enjoyed the first Crackdown, it was just mindless good fun. I rented Crackdown 2 and couldn't even play it. It crashed during that scene in the tutorial where the Helicopter carries your car over the bridge every single time, so I returned it. Thank god it was just a rental.
