For me...Prince of Persia, the one without a subtitle released in 2008.
It was just completely different from the previous three which I had almost idolized, it felt like a different game series.
I think without the prince of persia label, I really would have enjoyed the game, but as a game in the same series as the previous ones, I really didn't like it.

Legend of the Seeker

Funny thing is I actually enjoyed this series when I saw it for the first time as I hadn't read any of the Sword of Truth series that it's based on.Then I read the novels and realised just how bad the tv series is.I mean apart from the characters names it bears very little resemblance to the novels it's supposedly based on.Just off the top of my head

-It only very, very loosely follows the plot of the novels. And I mean very, very loosely. It bears little to no resemblance to the plots of the books at times
-Characters backgrounds and genealogies are changed for no reason
-A certain character who had been dead for a long time in the novels shows up in the tv show and is nothing like the character described in the books
-A certain character is introduced in the first season despite not appearing in the books until much later
-Tons of characters are simply invented for the show
-Whole episodes of the show have absolutely nothing to do with the plot of the books
-Major events in the books are ignored completely or whittled down to almost nothing

I could go on but suffice to say if your a fan of Terry Goodkinds Sword of Truth series then avoid this show at all costs.Legend of the Seeker should be held up as an example of how not to do a book to Tv show adaptation

It used to be Star Wars but I try not to think about that anymore. Now it's Mass Effect.

The thing I don't get is those games/ movies were Lucas's and Casey Hudson's babies, right? But instead of actually spending several years and planning the entire trilogy out (Lucas) or actually including everything you wanted to put in your ending (Hudson). Both those jokers just threw something together and were soooooo damn happy about it. It just... blows my mind.

Have you ever wrote a paper for school that you just had to write and rewrite over and over because you wanted it to be goddamn perfect? ^More effort that those two^

Let see-

Movie- Indiana Jones and the Cystral Skull. It's the only film that I went to see and got me to react WTF? when it finish.

Series- Heroes. That show had alot of potential but that show couldn't be save by the poor writting after season 1.

Game- Star Wars Republic Commando. I am only dissapointed for it was a show game eventhought the game itself was good.

So very much this. I got excited when I saw that there was a TV show being made of the books, and then died a little inside when I actually watched it.
And Darken Rahl being Richard's brother? What in the seven fucking hells is that?

I've heard rumors that Wheel of Time is being made into a movie, and I hope beyond hope that it isn't. I can't really see it being done well at all, and I don't want my favorite book series ruined by Hollywood.

The Watchmen film adaptation. Don?t get me wrong; it?s not bad per se?it just could?ve been so much better. Even aside from the fact that such a large and deep graphic novel could never be adapted perfectly to the big screen, there were so many nonsensical changes and omittances (as well as the slow motion being abused more times than a Romanian orphan) that made me think what on Earth Zack Snyder was doing.

The ending the Deus Ex: Human Revolution annoyed me. Mainly because I loved the story and world the game had presented me, but the slide show(s) felt rushed.

And Fullmetal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shamballa. I LOVE FMA but I found the film kinda... meh. Again, it felt rushed and could of done with more expansion.

Also, Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. The game was great but the pan flute thing annoyed the crap out of me, and ruined a otherwise great game for me.

There's probably other stuff too, I just can't think of them know :p

I agree with everyone who said Harry Potter. The last book felt too fast and it pulled a dues ex machina at the end that you probably would've been unable to piece together. The last movie was absolutely nothing but nonstop action that barely had much story to accompany it.

Also, the epilogue needs no explanation.

Probably the Shrek sequels. It's like, they've had their happily ever after! STOP retconning it!
Shrek 2 was forgivable, it actually had a twist that made sense.
