That Wii sports was my first ever Nintendo experience in my 20 years on this planet, and 14 years of gaming.

Despite the fact I think the Halo games have awful gameplay, I own every single one of them. Halo Wars is the only one I actually like.

I regret buying Brink and New Vegas the first day they came out.

I mean I like both games, but barely a month after they were released they were going for $20 on Amazon. Could have saved $80 there if I'd just waited.

I also regret those three separate times i bought and sold Borderlands.
yup it would have to be trading in borderlands aswell (even though it has a bullshit ending)

buying games i thought would be good based on the first game

mercenaries 2
Black Ops

being the big culprits

also buying games through childhood nostalgia and them not meeting my rediculously high expectations

also not having the time money to play games in a franchise and me loosing complete interest in them because of that

killzone 3
AC: brotherhood

being the big ones in that regret

Probably getting a PS3 while I was still playing Lost Odyssey. I got into my PS3 games before I could get to finish it, now I'm never in the mood to play it again. This makes me sad. I loved Lost Odyssey. ._.

EDIT:

I dont like certaint popular series.... Like Zelda (I never played it and I really dont feel like playing it), Bioshock (story is OK but I got really bored at gameplay), Witcher (this game can put me to sleep in 2 minutes) and so on.... I respect people who like these games but myself, I find myself bored playing them or I dont have any interest in playing them myself. I might try some of them (Zelda, Final Fantasy, World of Warcraft...), but I am sure I wont be changing my opinion on most of them.

The only one I can think of right now is recieving Pokemon Yellow for christmas in 1999 with a matching gameboy colour. as shown

I don't remember much from christmas 1999 until September 2000 because I was playing it that much. and once I got off of Pokemon Yellow, My dad got my brother and I Pokemon Silver and Pokemon Gold ( I got Pokemon Gold) for Christmas that year. I was thinking SON OF A *****! and then I lost the gameboy. That was the saddest moment of my gaming streak.
So getting Pokemon games. I also had Pokemon Pinball which is fun but after that I never played pokemon games again

and then I found my old pokemon yellow cartridge.
It always come back to get me!

Buying final fantasy 13 is my biggest regret.

My darkest secret is that I almost purchased final fantasy 14 (The one people have already forgotten about) before being guided away from the darkness by terrible reviews.

I play The Sims 3 and build on it and I really enjoy it. I feel like I'm letting female gamers everywhere down but the community is actually really friendly and fun and it is relaxing to play.

Biggest secret is that I never finished AC1, it's sat there waiting for me but I've never gotten to the end. My biggest regret is probably that I used cheats so much when I was younger that I am worse now than I could have been, I'm better than the large majority of people I know but I feel I could been so much better if I hadn't cheated as much back then.

The .dot hack series (PS2). It had a premiss that seemed like it couldn't miss. Basically it was an offline game pretending to an online one where your main character and his friends where playing the most popular MMORPG around called "The World". The mystery began however when many of the players and even one of MC's friends recently started ending up in a coma in real life after their online characters were data drained by some unknown force. Once again it sounded like a can't miss but boy was I wrong! Graphically the game looked like an early release from the PS1 era and then there was the gameplay with quickly got repetitive and uninteresting as most of the dungeons looked exactly the same as the last one. Then to make it all worse while the story had its interesting moments most of the impact was lost over the fact that they stretched it over four fucking episodes. Yes you heard that right four ridiculous episodes!! Given the graphics and over all lack of quality of the game there was no reason to do this unless to gouge gamers as it could have easily fit on one or maybe two disc.

Unfortunately I fell for it and bought all four episodes at a price of 200 dollars plus and to add insult to injury I also got the strategy guides for each game adding an extra $80.00 to my total bill. Thankfully though I beat the whole series and traded all four games in early enough to still recoup some of my losses;however, that will never bring back the hundred of hours of my life that I wasted on such a shitty series.

Spending 66 fucking hours playing FF XIII before finally giving up on that piece of shit game. I was on the final act, and I realized that I actually wasn't enjoying myself.

Biggest gaming secrets? I fly through games like no-ones business, which ends up in me spending more money than I'd care to admit in order to keep me going. Seriously. I beat Ninja Gaiden Black on Very Hard, in two days, and I just bought Demon's souls, and I've already killed 8 bosses. In two days.

I'm also a masochist when it comes to games. The harder the better, within reason. In fact, I think that this is part of the reason I go through games so quickly.

I got taken in by the Alone in the Dark hype and bought the limited edition. It never occur to me that the trailer and making of from the Xbox were so different to the Wii version (even the plot and scenes were different as well for some reason).
