Your Bucket List

[Shock and Awe]

For those who don't know, a bucket list is things you want to do before you die, or kick the bucket. Most everyone has a couple things they'd like to do before they die, but not quite a formal list. I've been thinking about it for awhile and I'd like to see other people's lists. It can be fantastic, or simple things. Whatever you feel you have to do before you die. Mine is, in no order,

1. Skydive

2. Go to space(fuck you we're getting there)

3. Get married

4. See Antarctica

5. Become a marksman

6. Visit Jerusalem

7. Hike at least one hundred miles of the Appalachian trail

8. Crest a large mountain(I've climbed a few small ones)

9. Ride a horse through part of the Silk Road

10. See Normandy

11. Become fluent in another language

I could probably come up with more, but thats a start.

10 seems like a good number to leave it at here, i would have said Antarctica, but you already mentioned that. the silk road idea also sounds really cool.

It is, but I really didn't mean it that way. I meant just become a crazy good shot. I'm good right now, but not quite on that level.

Cool idea for a thread, shame it's probably going to get locked down under the 'lack of discussion' rule
On the whole bucket list thing, I've never really thought about it.. I've already done a lot of things in my life that I wanted too such as: skydive (twice, one from ten thousand feet the other twenty thousand) fly a plane, see whales, visit various countries etc.
But I can only ever see myself having an actual list if I knew my number was coming up.
Of the things I would like to do but won't is go in a cage to see great whites. You ever see that video on boob tube where the welds on the cage broke and the people had to swim out? Sod that sharks are ok but too scary for me.

I also would love to fly a fighter jet, I know Russia lets people have a go in mig 29s or flankers for about 15000 dollars....so maybe one day!

5. Perform a HALO (High Altitude Low Opening) drop
