I'm a part of the United States Navy, until they tell me I can't be anymore. I need to get a degree in something, hopefully something useful.

Career = music industry. Why - I ask myself that every day! Maybe because I'm really good at it, and no good at anything else, heh.
What exactly DO you do in the industry?

My career goal personally is to work in Radio, I have groups that can help me get into it, but also I still need a paying job first and work my way up etc etc.

I major in Computer Science and am planning on joining the United States Air Force after I graduate. Even though I know it's damn near impossible, I'm going to try my hardest to become an Air Force Pilot.

I want to work as a stock broker, business analysis consultant, marketing manager within the electronic entertainment sector or an IT consultant.

All of them I have the skills to do, it's whichever I chose to go into or whichever is available. These are all dream jobs though and I would happily become an operations manager or work as an accountant

Yes I am boring, how did you guess?

If you want to work in radio offer your time to a volunteer community radio station. It's the only way you'll get experience to put on the resume, and no-one will give you a go in a paying job in that field without some experience.

I do lots of things, you name it, I've done it or I did it at some point, with only a few exceptions. The music industry is in such a bad state that it's almost impossible where I live to make a living doing one thing only. See my profile for links where you can ask me stuff so you don't have to divert this thread wildly off-topic.

If I don't collapse from exhaustion on campus or fall asleep on the wheel or go crazy from trying to fulfill all the requirements of the credential program, then teaching.

Because I love my students. They are my life.

My current career is retail. Just good ole retail. Not everyone can go to school and be a doctor or lawyer or dentist, and some people(including me) never had the slightest clue of what they wanted to do when they grew up.

Someone has to provide and run the services that people use every day. Someone has to be there to ring you out at the store, or explain the difference between each product, or point you in the correct direction of the item you're looking for, and that person might as well be me.

Question One. How is your eyesight?
Question Two. Can you exceed the Air Force Physical Requirements Standards?
Question Three. Will you tell the truth while filling out your security clearance paperwork?

If you can answer those three, then everything else will be a lot easier for you.

My career will hopefully take off in the next couple months *crosses his fingers*. I graduated with a BS in Criminal Justice and will hopefully be working for a respectable police department soon as long as everything pans out well. With all the budget cuts, though, it's taking a long time to go through the whole process.

I became an accountant because I have always been good with numbers, however the reason I am a good accountant is because I am good with people too. I earn lots of money. it's awesome.

Well, I'm planning on being a teacher (English and bilingual Geography). Not the most exciting career choice, I know, but I've done five internships now, always over semester break, and I just like it. What's more, apparently the paid teachers at those schools thought I was good at it, too.
I've got a long way to go, though - at least five more semesters. I'll be writing my bachelor's thesis next semester, and after that (if it's all smooth sailing) four more for the master's degree.

I'm a nurse, just graduated, working ungodly hours at a surgery clinic. It's difficult, but amazingly fun and interesting work. I love having a job that makes me feel like I actually make a difference! :)

I'm only 16 really so my career path isn't all that detailed, but i'm hoping to go to a University later in life to do a degree in some form of Religious Philosophy or History, probably Ancient Rome History.

I'm about to start a Masters degree in social work. It's all I want to do, I'm dead set on it. Until then, however, I work for a well known UK bank.
