For me? I'm gonna go with kirby 64. That game was just so super amazing, I think I remember it so well because every level was different. No repeat backgrounds or anything.

It would depend on how far back we are going, but I'd say it'd be either Donkey Kong Country 2, or Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. I put way more time in Tactics Advance though, I'd say easily at the very least 1,000 hours.

I used to play a bunch of games on the supernintendo that's names I have long since forgotten. The largest amount of my childhood was spend just exploring around in Supermario64. That was my first game that actually had a sandbox feeling to it.

Spyro the Dragon was my game. I had the original, Ripto's Rage, and Year of the Dragon for PS1. I played through all of them countless times as a kid and would often play the levels of games I beat over and over again.

Spyro 2 was the first game I ever beat 100%.

Altered Beast. My parents put a controller in my hands before I could remember anything and by the time I could remember anything my family was sick of playing that game with me. I still love it and whenever I break out the Sega with friends that's always the first game I put in. Frogger would be a second because I am insanely competitive at that game, most of the time I hate competitions. At first I wasn't but after 10 years of playing it and being mostly undefeated I'd like to hold that record (I'd only lose 1 in 100 rounds).

Pokemon. although, I don't know if most people would consider 12-14 being a kid. When i was little it wasn't a video game at all. It was my plastic dinosaurs and my imagination.

For me it would definitely have to be the Legend of Zelda games on Gameboy Colour and Advance.
I still remember how long it took me to beat that unbearable level in Oracle of Seasons where you had to jump onto the stump and change the season to the right season.... Maybe it was just my bad thought process. But still, so hard >.<

There is a newer game on steam that is kind of like a cross between the strike series and jackal (if you remember that).
That sounds cool have you any idea what it's called?
Sorry, had to look at my pc when I got home. It's called "Renegade Ops" although you have a time limit for certain events. You do switch vehicles occasionally and play style is top down.
Cool thanks for getting back to me on that. I'm going to have a look at it :)

Every since the second grade.
It's probably the reason why I want to major in economics.

The other would have to be the Megaman Battlenet games for the gameboy.

First is this game called Deus Ex, a game that I got stuck on the third level of as a kid but nonetheless kept going at it because I liked the game's general setting.

As for console gaming I'd have to go with Okage: Shadow King. The art style, the gameplay, the enemies, the characters and the surprisingly dark and genuinely-mature content contained and/or hidden(sometimes in plain sight) within all the surrealism - reminiscent of Tim Burton work, according to people I've heard talk about it - that I only half-noticed until recently was found by myself to be interesting and compelling and all kinds of other terms for "I liked it all a lot and I found it inspiring" that I won't bother to look for right now.

Probably ReVolt, Crash Bandicoot 2, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater anything, and Kingdom Hearts.

probably either the first Jak and Daxter or some game where you played as a tank and could equip yourself with various weapons with my favorite being a massive laser that could destroy almost anything in one hit.
