I know some of the guys in Ape Rape Escape, a Swedish band who are doing pretty well. Other than that, I can't say I have any connection to anyone "famous".

I'm related to a god from Nordic mythology though, that's pretty cool.

My uncle sold a hot dog to Wille Nelson a long time ago. My sister met Leonardo DiCaprio by accident on the beach in New Smyrna while he was shooting a movie. The same sister also met and chatted up Bruce Campbell at a book signing. My dad met Elvis when his friend played guitar for him. My mother in law went to high school with Blondie.

Edit-My sister in law has met John Travolta. He tipped her a hundred dollars.

No this is while he was doing the capture work, he just never speaks, all he does is dance.

I used to train with Anthony Perosh and Elvis Sinosic. Both of those guys have fought in the UFC. Elvis has crazy eyes.
My grandfather was the chief justice of east Africa and a grandmaster of the Masons in Scotland.
I'm also from a line of Scottish kings.

I once got off with a girl who's friend knows the guy who plays Cook in Skins. "Cook" knows "Effy" (obviously) who is friends with Emma Watson. Emma Watson works with Michael Gambon who once appeared on Top Gear, so obviously he's met Jeremy Clarkson who [etc. etc.].

[small]I think I may have cheated...[/small]

EDIT: Oh, and an ex-school teaching assistant had a friend who once shagged Kanye West. Apparently.

My friend's mum's cousin is Garbage frontwoman and T-1001 actress Shirley Manson.

I believe I may also have met Daniel Radcliffe once as a kid, but I doubt it was him, just looked a lot like him (this was before Harry Potter came out).

Our summerhouse was the childhood home of the Norwegian artist and genious Oddvar Torsheim.
If you don't know who he is, listen to one of his fabulous songs:

Uhm... one of my aunts was a pretty famous actor 'round here, but I think today most people under 40 won't remember her, so yeah.
Ah, yes. My father knows some at least locally famous guys. Writers, actors, ...

My father has dined with Mr. Trump, and both of us are friends with the largest orchard owner in Maryland.

I've also met some WWE wrestlers, and I was Time Magazine's person of the year in 2003, and 2006!

My great-great-great-etc father on my mother's side traveled with Napoleon when he conquered Switzerland, but didn't go with him to get defeated in Russia. He instead stayed in Switzerland, and half a century later the family moved to the Netherlands when Napoleon's forces had withdrawn.

The only one i remember off the top of my head is that Pierce Brosnan lived with my grandparents and their children when he was a teenager. So did his mum. Or something like that, i don't remember it fully.
That happened long before i was even born though.
Unless you count my nan's Uncle George who worked on movies including Star Wars and has the original script for Episode 4, or my mum's cousin who works as at Pinewood studios. I personally wouldn't count those two though.

I know the mom of the guy who plays Dwight on The Office. And a kid that was on my little league team just got drafted into the majors and got a $2mil contract if that counts for anything. And Uma Thurman went to my high school
